Love this. Prefer the black.

Is it just me, or do a lot of these shirts look like they are using more than one color in the design? There are several really good ones that might get chopped because of that rule.

No I can't find it either. I even went in my history and the link takes me to the main derby page.

Really tough to do that and not run afoul of the 'no woot references rule'. But if you're the type that likes a challenge (and rejections), go for it!

According to Shirt. What it was rejected and removed by the artist. Comment was 'we can't run this' so I'm guessing it's too close to something from the show (no clue, never seen it).

That sucks. Don't feel bad about having not seen it, nobody has that's why it's future is bleak.

I don't watch much Tv...and what I watch tends to be from the UK.

This brings up something that confuses the heck out of me - is there some standard/algorithm/magic code that Woot uses for which pop culture the artists can reference and which they can't? Sometimes, a TV/movie/video game gets rejected with "we can't run this"; in other cases, a different media property is referenced so much and so heavily, it seems to dominate the Reckoning.
Then there's celebrity likenesses - the written rule seems to be that they're a no-no, but then, there was that Inevitable Betrayal shirt not long ago, with Wash from Firefly playing with dinosaurs. It was clearly supposed to be Alan Tudyk - since it was highly cartoony, it wasn't considered a likeness?
I get that there are rules for a reason - not trying to be snarky, here - I just can't quite follow.
It depends on the context of the portrayal. If there is enough parody, it will fly, but if it's an exact replica without anything to differentiate it, it's not going to work. Some organizations are touchier about similarities--for example, Disney is hyper protective. Star Wars stuff is pretty touchy as well--but something like Family Breakfast makes it through. *shrugs* There isn't a hard line.
I am very disappointed with 'off topic' rejections this derby where the subject was clearly on topic, just not blatant. :/ At least 2 were rejected unfairly.
