We had carpenter ants a few years ago. Big, giant black ants. Hundreds of them. I wouldn't let younger son sleep in his room because that seemed to be where they were coming from. Fortunately, a friend of ours used to work for an exterminating company and still had some stuff. Husband drilled a hole about every five inches all around the two outside walls just above the baseboard of that bedroom and poured stuff in. Then it seemed like we had thousands of dead ones, including ones with wings. And the friend told us to leave them for a few days, because the live ones would carry the dead ones back to their colony and then more would die. Yuck!!!

Things could be worse...
Wow. That is very very disgusting...did the issue go away after that, though? Bugs are amazing, but I'd never want to be an entomologist or anything. Or an exterminator.

Wow, one already? I need to get to sleep. Goodnight poof and Prof. Tek - have a good night/morning!
No more ants. But every time I see one close to the house, I stomp that sucker dead.

Good Morning. Surprised I beat Gman to the greetings... edit: I wasn't on here much yesterday and didn't notice that Gman appears to be in another MIA situation.

Hopefully, it's a good spin. Not one of those spin and puke rides. Speaking of which... got a call last night that my niece has the poop and puke deal going on. Same niece who my kids play with and see on a daily basis. I DO NOT want that bug to come through our house again. Especially this weekend - daughter has her dance recital Saturday.

I might throw him out in the backyard. I tripped over a toy last night and contused my big toe. Don't think I'm gonna walk today...
