Seriously, I am done with you now.

I wasn't talking about any other pieces. I'm comparing just two. I apologize if that wasn't very clear in my previous post.

What have I done to so offend you that you feel the need to wash your hands of me? I'm critiquing your work, I'm being honest. And contrary to your tone and implications, wooters aren't idiots who don't know what they're talking about.

Fine design.

Thank you so much! I don't think I've ever really gotten good comments on anything I've submitted, I appreciate it!

Also, this shirt is way too dark.

Seriously, look at the neck of the guitar. It looks like the bottom of someone's bottom. And his head is what's separating the two cheeks. Look at it!

It doesn't really matter unless that previous shirt was printed. I mean, it really doesn't.

The design and placement is excellent.

I also think the shirt-color choice is excellent. Creme all the way.

Absolutely a FANTASTIC idea!

Hahaha! I love having those moments. I'm probably not going to resub, but I'm going to refine the design for use later with your suggestions

Re: The Musical Matrix

The only thing I don't like about the design is the rabbit...Yeah, I get the reference but I don't think it adds anything to the design.

The reference to the Matrix "is" the design.

re: interloper

As a zebrafinch mom I think it is cute, I just wanted you to know about the cheek pouches because it will help make the point clearer, and if it was fixed I would totally buy this. You should fix it and sub it elsewhere... teefury really likes bird shirts... lol

Re: Music Box

I like the 2x2 format in the thumbnail better than the 1x4 layout. I feel like it'd be stretched out too much. But I love the clean, simple design and the humor.

Yeah, I don't get it.

Haha. I don't like the way this was drawn - it's too blurry and the details you've chosen to shown make no sense - but I like the concept and wit.

This is cute. I love how the musical instruments - it almost seems like they have personalities (the cello even almost seems to smile).

Re: Listening (with Lashes)

The placement of the design is really odd. I don't like it. This design also seems more appropriate for a painting than a shirt - I like it, but I don't think I'd wear it.

Re: Music Is in the Air

1. I think the halftones are fine.

2. I would've gone for a brighter blue, one that was more sky-like, since your shirt is, after all, depicting the sky.

3. The red of the hydrogens stands out too much among the blue/yellow/green atoms. The red is too bright.

4. I almost want to say that all of the molecules should have been smaller. The size of the molecules makes the design more juvenile, I think. I wouldn't have added MORE molecules to the design though.

The world is a business, Mr. Beale. It has been since man crawled out of the slime.

SpindriftPrime wrote:But is it musical?

Of course it is! I couldn't fathom anything MORE musical than a frog. They are mother nature's orchestra and their chirping symphonies provide the soundtrack to many a Spring twilight. I would have thrown in music notes, but in real life you dont SEE the music, you HEAR it. I felt it would be a gross misrepresentation of the natural world to have added any visible music. For authenticity and context, you could actually keep a live frog in your pocket at all times (front pocket). That way people that don't already "get" it will be given a second chance at not being a complete moron. All in all, I think this is an excellent take on the theme, stretches its boundaries, and applies perfectly.
