Ah, so this is why a motorcycle growls when you rev it.

It all makes sense now.

Woohoo! ... two prints in one week!

About that fuel pump, though ... it's been quite a while since gas was only 3-digits (under a buck a gallon, since the last digit is 9/10ths of a penny).

I don't think that strike it rich plan will work unless they take allow for plate tectonics. Could be drilling in the wrong place.

In for one because:

- I live in Alberta and my province is basically dinosaurs and oil. That is all there is.

- I'm in shirt-buying withdrawal.

- I want to see how Slate compares to Asphalt.

- It's just a good shirt.

Now I don't feel so bad about the rising cost of fuel. Liquified dinosaurs don't come cheap. Congrats Luck.

Meh... One of the designs in the fog that I didn't care for. Maybe 2nd and 3rd will be ones I wanted.

I love it. I love the colors (got my first slate shirt today and I am a fan of the new shade!) and I love the expressions on the dinosaur's face. insta-buy.

YAY! I wanted this to be in the top 3. I'm in for two - my little brother and I... I wish he could wear it to his first day of 1st grade - too bad they wear are uniforms.

Before anyone complains that it isn't scientifically accurate - and someone will - take these nuggets of wisdom from an earth science teacher:

IT'S A OMGOMGOMGPONIESOMG PONIES!!ING JOKE!

Consider it a teachable moment - they gotta know the actual science to get the joke!

Fact: If the dinosaur is replaced with a human, it wouldn't make as much sense, and it would be even MORE morbid.

More. Morbid.

And something not so much about the shirt but the artist bio ...

Is it Hacienda Heights (as listed in KotG), or Honolulu? ... and if it's the latter, we want to see your birth certificate.

But...but petrol comes from dead planktons, and single-cell photosynthesizers, and... things-that-are-not-dinosaurs.

(But I'm totally in for two.)

I didn't check the derby this week and now I see it is Chemistry! Score! I work as an oilfield chemist so this is such a mandatory shirt for me. :-)

It would have been even more awesome if a little bit of foliage had been incorporated, but hey, I love it---and I am so not into dinosaur fashion.

"The Chemist" shirt with the little kid in the classroom of desks is always getting giggles from people when they realize what it is. I can't wait to try this one out. :-)

Nice one, lucky! Any joke that you can get instantly, without knowing the shirt title, is a definite win in my book.

Not to be a stickler here or anything, but wasn't a dino made up of mostly water like us? It was as close to a "solid" as a water balloon. :'/

I have no idea what dinosaur species this was, but apparently it makes very good petroleum.

So... how else would you classify humans? Liquid? Gas (well, that could depend on the person)? I was pretty solid last I checked, but I guess you never know.

I'd hate to see 3 meteors about to fall on top on me as I lay sinking in tar.

I would also hate to lose my depth perception

It's the circle of liiiife.
And it moves us alllll...

C'mon everybody, sing along!

... Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place.

Why aren't you singing!?

You are what you eat. Zoo plankton and algae are at the bottom of the food chain, dinosaurs at the top. By the well-known transitive property of food, it is evident that dinosaurs are actually zooplankton and algae.

Zooplankton and Algae aren't as "shirt-ogenic" as dinosaurs.

Wow, many thanks for all the support everyone, what a great surprise!

@narfcake- I hail from both cities, the latter (HI) my hometown.

Please don't hate me too much for posting this semi-relevant '80s music video.
