I was wondering if anyone here has experience with Autodesk's Sketchbook program. Their site says that it makes drawing feel more "pencil on paper". Is it more "natural" than drawing with Photoshop? Just curious if it's worth trying out.

The iPad app or otherwise? On the iPad, I've used it with a stylus and it's very smooth and sketch-like. They have a free version if you want to just try it out. Lonelypond mentioned it here also.
I've been using on my iPad + enjoying it, but I have ToonBoom animation programs for comparison not Photoshop. For me, it's a step into illustration and I like the response I get to both stylus + hand from the program. Most non cartoony sample:

I was thinking for my computer rather than the ipad app. I saw a shirt design process video where it was being used simultaneously with photoshop. Maybe I'll try that free version just to see, thanks.
there's a free trial: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=11895121 i got a Wacom Bamboo tablet recently, and it came with an application called ArtRage Studio Pro. it doesn't have the advanced features Sketchbook offers as it only has layers and brushes etc., but it's very intuitive.
I was curious to know if anyone had designed a shirt with the Wacom Inkling. I don't really know how to use Illustrator and it seems like an easier way for me to go about working with vectors.
I thought about buying the Inkling and I'm glad I didn't. The reviews for it are terrible. Apparently it only gives you a rough sketch that still needs considerable cleanup in Illustrator. I've been researching the digital sketchbook idea for a while and one that keeps getting recommended in the Motion Computing LS800. It's an all-in-one tablet PC with a stylus. You can get the on eBay for around $200. I haven't actually used one, but there is a very informative video on Youtube that compares the LS800 to the iPad.

I'm curious. What do you use for your illustrations at the moment?

I just bought a LS800, so I'll let you know when it gets here...

I use just Photoshop and a wacom intuos3 tablet.

Well my deal for the LS800 fell through... Now looking at maybe getting a Toshiba protege M400. Anyone else have one?

I actually found another LS800 and bought it. I like it, but I am struggling in photoshop not having a keyboard to have hot keys, so it may take some getting used to. It would help if I could draw better (gooder).

plug in a wireless keyboard?

I may have to because I cannot find any good tutorials on photoshop without a keyboard.
