So, does anyone know what designs are likely to be in this mix?

If you receive duplicates in your Random order, same shirt same size, that's a mistake and woot will make it right. You're not supposed to receive two of the same shirt in the same order.

Do people ever still hit the motherload and get more shirts than they asked for? I remember there use to be a rumor that in addition to their random requested sampling they would be a lucky wooter to receive an extra cornocopia of randoms, even some in "not their size", usually children size.

I've never been a big shirt buyer, and I've never thought about buying randoms before, but you guys have convinced me. I'll double my (extremely modest) woot shirt collection today.

In for three.

I hope it would be considered as such. While it is unresponable to expect them to check and see if I ever gotten a certain shirt, it would not be to expect them to make sure all the shirts in one order are different.

Yay, the first random shirt day I'm participating in this year! In for 3, and I'll just give the ones I don't like to my younger brother.

How hard is it to say they're AA on the front page instead of making us wade through 7 pages of the forum (and growing)? I already ended up with one dress because they weren't clear about Anvil vs AA. It's text. You can edit it. It can't be that much harder than fixing/refunding 20 orders that don't fit. Come on.

That said, in for 3. I'd buy 12 AA shirts if that were an option. This (or any other sale of random AAs) will be the last purchase I make here until Woot starts listening to its customers.

LOVE random shirt day!!! I ordered 3 WL based on the size chart saying AA. I hope Woot doesn't do the old switcheroo on me and send me Anvil ones.... I don't need any more tents.

I didn't know that - I got duplicates in one of my last orders, too. Guess I should have followed up. Oh well, still in for three this time!

After perusing the recent Reckonings, I think I'll skip the Random Shirt grab this time. Too many cartoony shirts in this batch, and I prefer the beautiful, artistic designs.

...so why do I already regret not buying 3?

Large sizes are gone
In response, I went and measured all my shirts to see if I can justify buying a XL by finding one in my closet.... no luck ><

Thanks, though it's worth noting the majority of those are on Anvil blanks, so not shirts that will be received this time around.

I suspect a very wide variety of shirts will be up for grabs as Woot tries to get rid of the remainder of its AA stock.

MXL ... a little wider, a little longer. I was at that before moving down to ML. Washing on hot + dryer almost shrinks them down to ML anyways.

I'll admit that I'm a little late to the party today and there are no more 2x shirts. However, last time there were randoms, I looked plenty early in the day and they were also sold out. Seeing as how most of my tee shirt wardrobe are Woot's, I'm a little frustrated. I just can't squeeze into an XL shirt anymore. I'm 6'3" with a broad build and don't appreciate clothes that cling right to my skin.

This was never a problem for me before the last 2 randoms.

On a related note, today I'm wearing this shirt that I got in my last random set that I was able to purchase.

Since the switch, there have been fewer and fewer printed on AA, hence fewer to go around to sell too.

That's fantastic and all, and without a doubt, I'll admit I forgot to check until like 5 PM EST today, and totally blew it. But guess who is not going to wait up until 2 AM to see what's new on Woot? The guy that has to get up and go to work in the morning like a majority of the work force (aka, me).

Thanks for changing my order from 3 3x to 3 small woot, like I asked, especially since I emailed less then 15 minutes after I placed my order.

Oh wait, I forget, You won't/can't fix it. I guess my 10 year old son is going to look at me in confusion when I hand him 3 3x woot shirts for his birthday. Which is when these shirts should arrive.

And I especially appreciate you guys getting back to me by the end of the business day. Oh, wait, you didn't do that either.

If I wasn't on late shift rotation, I would've missed shirts for me and my son both. Random shirts are a harsh mistress.

My situation isn't QUITE that bad but I ordered a WXL thinking they'd be Anvil blanks and I could try one out (plus my usual size in men's for the other two shirts). I emailed to request switching to three men's shirts, and didn't hear back either.

No big, maybe I can wear three sports bras to make the AA WXL fit? Or I have a new dustrag.

Yeah, I understand that they probably have a few thousand orders, and finding mine would be a bit of a pain, but these are a gift for my son. I would figure they would have a little compassion in regards to this matter.

Select the wrong size by mistake? (Not going for snark, just curious/nosy.)

Sorry that things aren't going to work out since that's a pretty significant difference in size. The only thing I can think of is what others suggested previously in the thread - make another account and order what you want. That's probably the last thing you want to do after all of this, but that's all I can think of since trades/sales won't work.

Unfortunately, the craziness of randoms seems to have turned the usually wonderful customer service folks into a bunch of cranky woot monkeys. Not fixing an order that is someone's birthday present for their child is pretty low woot.

Yeah, I was on autopilot and ordered 3 for myself.

The issue with opening another account is that I've already done that, and ordered 3 3x shirts on that account too. I placed both orders last night, and realized immediately after placing the second order that I had chosen the wrong size. I don't have any other payment methods, so that solution is kinda moot.

The thing that really confuses me, is that I've made this mistake before, with a kids.woot shirt sale. I realized a week later that I had ordered k10 instead of k12. I offered to send the shirts back as soon as they arrived without even opening them. They sent out new shirts, and didn't even ask for me to send the old ones back. I'm not trying to get anything free out of woot, just what I meant to order.

And really, what's the point of the confirmation email if they don't/won't do anything to fix the problem until WAY after the fact. The only option that I have available to me is to send them back as soon as they arrive for a refund. In this circumstance, that just will not do. Yes, I'll get my money back, eventually, but then I'm out the 3 shirts for my son, and out an awesome birthday present.

I am glad I checked the size chart. With the anvils I can get the women's xl but with with th AA blanks, I had to try the men's Mediums (since the large are sold out). I just lost 15 lbs so I was not about to go up a size. :-) If they are too small I'll just use them as motivation to lose another 10 lbs.

To those people who are upset about ordering the wrong size -- I feel ya. Last time around I ordered three different sizes, thinking it would give me a cheap way to 'feel out' the new Anvils. Whoops, turned out they were all AA blanks, so I wound up with two shirts that don't fit me as I'd like, and one shirt that would fit, but wasn't my deal.

I was easily able to trade two of them, and while I still have one of the 'not quite' shirts, I am just going to keep holding on because at some point someone will want it (someone did offer to buy it, but would want it shipped internationally, which just seems incredibly expensive.)

Do not underestimate the power of the trade! It's part of what makes randoms fun.

Ah, crap. I posted this from my boyfriend's account. I mean, not that I was signed in to snag three more randoms or anything. I mean, who does that?
