I guess I just have an extra dirty mind, I can't even let myself wear this because of myself. >.> LMAO...

This comment shows I obviously need to go to bed. (To sleep!! I caught myself on that almost super embarrassing post!!)

Re: The Best Exercise... [v2]

The general public will likely disagree, but these are my two critiques:

1. I think the previous colour scheme was better. I liked the way the text worked with the shirt colour. I'm guessing you were afraid it was too subtle and would be hard to read - maybe a happy medium between this bright orange and the original pale orange?

2. The placement of "takes" is much better in this one. I think it would be better without italics and if all the text was the same colour, like before. If you want some variation, I'd suggest not using such a stark contrast.

Other than that, I really like both designs. Very well done.

Re: smoking is dumb

Well, besides the fact that it's a little too PSA and not totally on theme, I don't really care for the apple and orange and the way they are drawn...the clothes they're wearing just look strange/off. Maybe if you had them not wearing clothes, but just those numbered tags runners wear? I dunno, that's what bothered me on top of the giant sick cigarette. >.>

Re: Exercise Your Mind

I think the brain needs more depth, (lmao) design-wise. It's a little...square-ish? Too 2-dimensional? Otherwise, I like this design, GMV.

Well, it's not very kosher, but that's why God invented an almost equally delicious alternative: Turkey Bacon!

You have officially received more votes from me than John McCain.

Haxrox 2012?

Oh and to all you haters: Angry, jealous, snide, hostile remarks are the most sincere form of flattery, so you have my thanks for complimenting this awesome shirt with me. I look forward to wearing this proudly.

eHalcyon wrote:I think it would work better to pluralize those exercises, i.e. "you can do arm stretches, knee lifts, shoulder rolls, or what you've been doing - neck bends". Two caveats:

1. Maybe it's more common to refer to the exercises with an article (a, an, the). I'm not sure. I have a high metabolism and am a little underweight even though I eat a lot; I rarely exercise at all (beyond walking pretty much everywhere).

2. Using singular articles on the first few is potentially more humourous - implying the reader can only do a single knee lift, for example. Of course, now it's not funny at all after all this thought and critique.

yea at the time I didn't really pay attention to my grammar... I saw the "exercise is/are" part at some point but I was sidetracked. Let me change that part, and I'd like to pluralize the exercises too...

Re: For those who don't move around much

ok I've changed the wording so it reads: "Not all exercises are strenuous. For those of you who sit all day, you can do arm stretches, knee lifts, shoulder rolls, or what you've just been doing - neck bends."

I've also made the eyes empty. So does it look less cute? I don't know if it'll be better or worse, but this is actually what I wanted to do at the first place. The empty eyes kinda make the cats zombie-like.

Just so that you know, according to the manual, the lowest Wii Fit age is 21.

I believe it's 20. I scored it once... rocked the various tennis games and that's the number I received. Checked the internet right after, because I thought I should have scored younger, but word around town the youngest is 20.

Re: Forest Aerobics

I second most of the positive comments above about this one. My only slight qualm is with the colour - I don't think I'm a yellow t-shirt person (I'd totally have it in light blue, but one can always work around things like that anyway).

But yeah, like it.

Thanks everyone for your votes & comments.
Sarah, you are right, but I just couldn't resist the temptation of making hay while the sun shines - we can use text after so long. YIPPY!!! Also what I've written on the T reflects my honest views & I think the views of many people I know, I just had to put it down somewhere till the woot came along. I wish it figured somewhere in the woot for all us lazy bums, who just love to exercise(harmless pun intended). giggles....

That's whats depressing though. The cards WERE a good design. They didn't do very well. The woot voting demographic has gone from liking clever, well designed shirts to just liking anything with fur and watery eyes, which is really a shame. With the cute stuff winning week after week, it's getting hard to expect much else.
