Thanks guys I thought it was a cute idea and was excited to work on it, and was glad to have the extra time this week (I definitely was swamped and wouldn't have been able to finish this if the theme went up yesterday afternoon)

This isn't exactly what the shells look like, nor are they actually turtles. Woot has never allowed copyrighted material in theory, but specifically stated that video game references are fine this derby, which is what I would say this entry falls under.

Why does the greatest love become the greatest pain? Life is but one heartbreak after another! Just kidding, this robot could be mourning anything! It might just be his old hard drive down there! Or maybe his former creator after he destroyed him!! Nah, this guy's definitely no murderer; he is far too cute for that (no robo-meat popsicle). He is just so hurt by his loss that he's ripping out his heart to stop the pain. Or is he? You decide the meaning of this shirt, it's open to interpretation!

Actually I was unsure about that so I cleared the rule with a member of Woot staff before I even started. So long as there's parody pop-culture subjects are A-okay this week.

That makes very little sense to me. Pop culture is always banned without parody so there's no reason to have an extra rule about it if you aren't banning it wholesale.
