Mom-in-law is arriving around Thursday, en route from CA now (she was visiting Orc's step-brother there.) Ver1 had two days off school and we didn't manage to get a thing done, but we had some very valid and important distractions. I got to help at a birth and I'm still dancing from the excitement, when I'm not falling over from the exhaustion.

Yep, as am I. I usually have 5-6 windows open at any given time, so being limited to one monitor was frustrating. Now, I'll be grumpy at work since that's a smaller 2nd monitor. :D Got the biggest one I could find, since I can use it with my personal laptop as well. Plus, not everything is on a desk, with a real mouse and keyboard and chair, rather than taking over a couch in the living room.

My Kindle arrived! It is charging up and downloading the 90 free books that I "bought" while waiting for it to be delivered. It is supposed to have ads but I haven't seen any yet.

New kindle. Only 114.00 if you agree to see adds. I haven't found them to be a problem at all. They show up like a screen saver. I absolutely love the kindle.
