It wasn't the 80's... it was a "long time ago in a galaxy far away" sounds like it was way before the 70's to me.

Obviously getting close to the overriding "no religion" rule. Though for whatever reason I feel like the Old Testament isn't quite the auto-rejection that the New Testament is.

Like when the beaver Abe Lincoln put on his first Stove-pipe Hat made from other beavers. Beaver fur was all the rage back in his day....

I would love to see macabre historical events with super adorable animals: the Salem witch trials [is it a BBQ or a witch being burned at the stake?], the beheading of Marie Antoinette [with the masses eating cake, of course], etc...
I have zero artistic skill so I hope that someone with the skills shares my twisted sense of humor and makes some amazing submissions to this derby!

But you see that is the beauty of it all... because it could very well be a real event... or it could not. And one side may have very compelling evidence and the other may not... But to some it happened... and would you deprive the few of their desire to have this be a real historical event in the history of the universe?

I'd like it to be allowed and it could very well be. I was just soliciting some other opinions on it. It could be argued that a historical figure wearing an iconic outfit was an event from history.

imo when they talk about "famous events before 1970" that implies something more than just wearing an outfit. but rejectionation seems to be at the whim of the rejectionator rather than applying hard and fast rules.

This is probably wrong on a few levels, but I'm doing penguins re-enacting the sinking of the Titanic. Don't worry, it'll be adorable. Wrong, but adorable.
