Staff

When early man cast his eyes Heavenward to behold the dazzling radiance of the night sky, his mind was riveted by one thought and one thought only: "That would look pretty cool on a t-shirt." At long last, Shirt.Woot has fulfilled that eternal yearning with Star Wear. This selection of tees, hoodies, and totes captures the mystery and majesty of those little twinkling dots of light, and renders it into wearable (or carryable) form.

Like the universe, this sale's lifespan will be finite, but much more finite: Star Wear runs through Sunday, May 6. All orders begin shipping on May 9. As always with these events, "overnight" shipping means "faster than free shipping, but it won't get to you overnight."

Great choices (I like Star Trails personally) but nothing I gotta have that I didn't already gotta get.

ETA: I have an original "Pull-Up You Fools" in AA WM that I received as a random and would love to find it a good home.

My very first Woot shirt is back! The great "Pterodactyl With A Machine Gun" is three years old and still glows. And nobody who asks what it means understands it. Maybe I need new ones? But which type?

Oh my good golly to heavens - 6 black hoodies!!!

I just knew that boycotting (or rather, oldfartcotting) the last few weekly events would bring back hoodies and zippers and designs that I like!

BLACK!!!

My absolute-favorite upper-body color for hiding my upper body! I love black!

Misfortunately, black doesn't love the hairy atmosphere in my Siberian Husky discarded-fur factory, where I have four of that breed slaving away to produce discarded fur to anoint clothing, bedding, furniture, drapes, carpeting, food-preparation surfaces, et cetera et cetera et cetera (to quote the King in The King and I).

What to do; what to do?

Some really great choices this week, including "Poker Game" and "...with a Machine Gun." Pretty sure I'm buying at least one of those!

So ... I'm sure this has been asked before ... forgive me ... but ...

How do the zip-up hoodies fit? Obviously they are all men's sizes. How would a small fit on a woman who is too small to wear the new women's small Anvil tees, but doesn't mind a slouchy hoodie?

Will it still be ridiculously large?

I'm laughing so hard over Pterodactyl With A Machine Gun, can't get an Anvil tee, so I'm actually considering getting the hoodie.

I have a small pullover hoodie (and I'm too small to wear the WS Anvil). The pullover's definitely wearable, but slouchy (it's very very comfortable!). I don't have a zip up, but I assume the sizing's similar. I like zip ups to be more fitted, so I wouldn't personally buy one, but if you don't mind it big, it'd probably work for you.

Thanks for the info. I'm interested in the same one, same problem.

If it were a pullover sweatshirt, I'd buy it in a second. But the zip-up style might be awkward if it's so large.

Could woot staff explain to me what is going on with the star trails remix hoodie? The front looks like it just has a quarter of the design on it instead of a shrunk down version of the whole design, looks strange.

Also what is exactly remixed?

There could be no better weekly sale for me! I am actually currently wearing Black Hole and adore it. I'd been lusting after @-@ for a long time and my Darth Meow needs a Boba Fetch.

Who knew SW:TOR would turn me into such a fiend for Star Wars merch?

Great selections and thanks for bringing back the totes.

Pterodactyl with a Machine Gun is one of my favorite woot shirts of all time. I have two of them.

Wonder if I need a third... just in case.

Zip up hoodie? Tempting.
Oddrock hoodie? Also Tempting.

Woot... I'd like to keep SOME of my money.

Munchy Attack If you can find the name of this artist & real song title I'll buy you a daily woot shirt (your choice what day)

Dystopia Dark Lager, Where the Wild Parties at?, B.A. Bearacus, and many more wanted in XXL(PLEASE!!!)
Edgar Allen Poe shall remained headlock'd until Nevermore is reckoned.

The original title of the original shirt was "Star Trails Remix" - which I'm guessing is a reference to the vinyl record shape.

"Pull Up You Fools, Remix" was originally printed on heather grey and is printed on silver in the side sale. The use of "remix" in both contexts is confusing, I agree!

I'm waiting for this one to come back too. My first shirt was defective and they couldn't repalce it, so I would like both a shirt and an apron.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Now if woot could explain if the design on the front of the star trails hoodie is a mistake or not I might buy one....

I understand we should be promoting this around, but wouldn't it help if it was showcased a little bit more on the site - perhaps a little link on today's woot page?

Debating over whether to get a zip-up hoodie so that I have an alternative/back-up for my current one, but I don't know how much Anvil differs from AA, besides sizing, is there anything else that differs?

Or am I completely out of my depth and even the sizing is close enough?

I'm dreaming when I'm tired, and I'm tired when I'm awake.

The hoodies are, and have been, Gildan. G185 for the pullover, G186 for the zip-up.

Does anyone know if these are on the old shirt templates or the new ones? The new shirts are super huge and I don't want to end up with another brand new sleepy-shirt. (specifically: Poker Game) Thx!

Poker Game is AA. You can check the sizing chart of each shirt to see what blanks are used. Whole numbers are Anvil.

Check the sizing for the specific shirt.

to put it politely, i'm not a Star Wars fan, but can i resist a pullover? or 2?
(hint: the answer is not yes)

(it's a shame the last few weekly events didn't feature any pullovers, cause i liked those designs so much better)
