Artichokey finds itself in danger once again. Looks like it'll be more of a challenge to survive this time around, especially if the blossoms start moving. Here's hoping it pulls it off.

Odd, no, but someone had to have designed it ... so why the anonymity? It's understandable with something like the 2009 Collaborashirt, but for others ... I kind of don't get it.

Is it possible that the artist asked not to be identified? While it doesn't look to be one of hers, I can imagine She-who-will-not-be-named would prefer a shirt print without a name, as the name would negatively impact sales.

It's possible. But you can list your name however you want on artist page when you submit a daily, so while possible, I'd say unlikely.

I feel like we used to see a lot more "Woot Staff" designs, especially around holidays.

As far as the anonymity goes, I'll guess the overall philosophy is "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." I used to write for a weekly publication, and we did not use bylines. That was the philosophy there.

Of course it might be something more basic--like if a submission gets approved under joelterrific, then it's too much of a pain to make sure he doesn't automatically get a $1000 payment. Who knows.

There have been lots of shirt.woot staff artist prints, esp text designs, holiday shirts, political commentaries...

I've lost interest in the reckoning stats stuff, so don't come in here anymore, but since when do the derby shirts not get a full week to run before getting axed?

My sales stats page has not been working for a long time now. The only way I see any sales information on 1971-Floppy Diskette is to look on the Reckoning page. I have emailed Woot about this a couple of times and have not received an answer or had the page/link fixed.

Argh! It's totally unacceptable that your artist link isn't working - or yours, firefrogh! Lyonscc, email whoever your contact is at woot to let them know that your link isn't working - and both of you, let us know if your links are fixed. None of us have any pull, but in the past, I've bleeted loudly enough that woot at least contacted me to let me know that they were working on something! This is sort of thing worth bleeting about.

Lyonscc, welcome to the Reckoning! [Cookies on the left, haters on the right, Monday morning straight ahead.] Basic primer: shirts sold on the first day (as well as during a one-hour woot-off sale) don't count towards the Reckoning standings, although you should receive a $1/shirt commission for the one-hour woot-off sales. Since your link isn't working, you can follow your sales number here. Your shirt sold 2938 copies on the first day, so that means (currently) you've sold 162 copies that count towards your Reckoning standings.

How are the standings determined? They're based on the woot DSR, which is a little strange. It's essentially a prediction of the shirt's DSR based on sales through NEXT Monday noon. Short version: this week, take how many shirts you've sold post-first-day around midnight and divide by 9.5: that's your woot-based DSR. Next week, divide by 16.5; the following week 21.5 - then come back and we'll explain what happens once your shirt hits 28 days in the Reckoning.

One note: the woot-based DSR disadvantages the Derby shirts compared to new Dailies, and both are disadvantaged compared to shirts have been on the Reckoning for more than a week. In other words, Humanitarian's eighth place standing in the Reckoning is conservative and it will almost certainly rise as the weekend approaches.

Been a bad month for the older shirts. Fourth -and fifth-oldest shirts now in trouble. (Artichokey is one day older than Formula for Success)

Congrats on your win Lyonscc! My stats page occasionally goes down... usually not for longer than half a day or so though. Strangely enough the numbers shifted on me a bit as woot worked out some bugs in their system (nothing serious).

I find it easier just to check the wootbot post on your shirt's thread tbh. The only advice I have to offer is to try not to refresh your page every 15 seconds while making cash register noises. Slot machine sounds are also right out. We have better things to do, right? RIGHT?

Not sure why it's different than a regular shirt woot! plus sale...

Kind of weird to me because they are only kids sizes, all on AA, $10, and some great designs that haven't been printed on adult shirts in awhile!

Squeeze is done with glow in the dark ink too!

I wish this was a sign that the shirts were going back to AA and $10, but they must just be trying to get rid of all the kids AA's hanging around, utilizing all the colors they have still.

For an established shirt (one that's been around for four weeks or more) it takes 28 additional sales to raise the Woot DSR by one point. Based on Narf's numbers, it appears to be 1.5 DSR points out of 20th place, so it would take 42-ish more sales than Leonardo gets over two days to survive. So if Leonardo sells 30 shirts before noon Monday, Artichokey needs about 72 to catch up. (And you also have to assume that the shirts in between don't do the same.) That's a pretty tall order.

This Monday has all the potential for a triple-Ramy-Reckoning. I love movement at the line going into Monday.

I found that was quite cool this morning. Through the past week, they've been running pretty close; I expect Nevermore's rank to increase in #259.

I don't expect them to cross the line together, however. The last Woot-off numbers fall off tonight, which means there's a chance we're going to have one in the next few days. And unless I get extremely desperate, I'm not going for either one; last time, I just got sick of hitting the F5 key so I clicked on the gold button instead.

AA Update: With 1971 (women) and Artichokey (kids) Reckoned, there will no shirts printed on AA as of midnight tonight.
