I think that secretly my kids get up after I have gone to bed and carefully place LEGOs in exactly right places for me to step on them. Instead of an alarm system people should just put a large sign in the front yard that says "our kids have LEGOs". Problem solved.

I've often wondered how it is that adults seem to step on these while the children who left them scattered never seem to have that problem...

That said, I don't remember having a problem with my parents stepping on our toys when I was growing up. I think my Mom must have been diligent about us picking them up before bedtime. But I do remember we used to dig holes in the yard and leave them overnight, but then at one point we had to go about filling them in before dark. I think my Dad must have "found" one. Whoops.

I don't find this t-shirt funny. Three years ago I stepped on a Lego. After years of physical therapy, I was finally able to walk without crutches this week. Save your feet, lose the Legos!

Ninjas used to use caltrops, until they invented Legos.

Whats more painful?
Stepping on a lego or attempting to break apart two flat 1x2 pieces that got stuck together with your teeth?

I usually have this problem but have none to blame but myself

I have boys that are insane for Legos. They are everywhere. In every room of the house, including bathrooms, and even in my bed. I can attest to the pain. There is pain...excruciating pain...and Lego pain!

Stray Lego = foot magnet

you see the circus sideshow types on AGT doing their schtick w/sword swallowing, hanging weights from eyelids, bed o nails, firewalk, walk on broken glass, blah blah blah...no walk on Lego strongman. even last season's Horse, kick him inna yarbles, was not brave enough for this.
I'd like to see Lego featured on Fear Factor (blindfolded, natch), World's Greatest Eliminations, Minute to Win it, and of course, added to the Marine's obstacle course.

I've got a chipped front tooth from childhood to prove the latter. It was two flat 4x4 pieces.

Flat bricks were always the worst to separate. I've always had long nails, ever since I was a kid and would use those to separate the flat bricks. Many broken nails resulted, but at least those grow back unlike teeth. I didn't get my first brick separator (the other kind, not the orange kind featured at the link) until I got one with my Lego vac when I was 8. I actually didn't know what it was until about 13 years later when I met my now-hubby in college. Sad thing is I still don't know how to use one though.

I still have a visable scar on the back of my hand from a lego incident 15 years ago... I learned the hard way not to lean over a pile of legos using your knuckles to hold up your weight.

I'd be all over this if it were just a normal 2X4 brick. The pointyness is unnecessary. People get it without that. It's a better joke without it.

I will wear this shirt to elicit winces from parents the way America's Funniest Home Videos does for all men everywhere.

Wow. I was only on crutches for a couple months.

When people see me walking around in bare feet or socks, they seem to note that I walk toe-heel instead of heel-toe, and they ask why this is, and I reply "I grew up with Legos."

I'd buy this shirt if I didn't look like I had leprosy when I wore red.

This happened to me exactly once. Being an adult collector, I have learned to tread lightly.
