I would like to recommend The American Heart Association. My dad passed away a few months ago. His problems all began with a stroke years ago. 11 years ago my mom passed away from a massive heart attack. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women. After my dad passed away my brothers and I asked that donations be made to AHA in memory of my father.

I'm a fool.
Cubbiecatz, of course I am sorry for your lost. My dad died of a massive heart attact when I was in college, after living with a bad heart since childhood.
I was glad that someone was using the thread for what it was intended for. We have kept it alive for a long time just so you could post that link...

Thank you! I have been a long time wooter, obviously don't post much, and I never realized there were various forums until a couple of days ago. This charity sight is awesome. I'm sorry for your loss as well.

Is he doing OK?

Thanks, my friend.

In poverty and other misfortunes of life, true friends are a sure refuge. The young they keep out of mischief; to the old they are a comfort and aid in their weakness, and those in the prime of life they incite to noble deeds.
