I used to be exclusively MS paint! I was about to download gimp, because it is free, when I found out this computer here at work had photoshop 7 on it. Probably going to still get gimp for home computer though.

I have GIMPortable and the Inkscape on my little 2GB thumbdrive so as to avoid the administrative lockup on my work computer, and I can take it all home with me at night, too!

Ah, gotcha. I'd probably have to stick to GIMP, being a poor college student and everything =P

the GIMP is about 20 megs, the Inkscape about 172 megs. I have lots of space left for my drawrings. I think the programs work a little slower due to the fact they're on a thumbdrive, but since I have never done it any other way, I don't knowwhat I'm missing.

(the thumbdrive is one of those 2GB ones. probably costs half as much now as when I bought it in November...)

I have that for work, but I stopped commuting when I had the baby, so I haven't gotten the hang of gimp yet. I have photoshop 7 at home. I bought a wacom tablet thanks to the contests (and a deal). It's not even hooked up right now.

I wonder how I can convince the lovely Mrs. kenney9226 to let me get one of those tablets? And I also wonder how that would go over here in my cubicle? Aha! I must work real hard to get promoted so I can get an office with a door.

Or do this to my cube:

Freaky, SkekTek saw this one now but not the one earlier.... They are both similar enough that when I tell you it is a picture of a cubicle encased in the cardboard from refrigerator boxes with a door and wondow cut in it, you'll get an acceptable mental image..

I am shocked. 45 votes and in the fog? There's a conspiracy afoot here.

Perhaps coffee is an untapped magnet for getting votes in the derby.

Well, a lot of people must be using coffee to stay up till 1am (personally I prefer coffee as a beverage instead of as a stay awake drug....but I'm not going to lie, I've had to have it to pull all-nighters before =P)

the coffee also helps keep you regular, which becomes more important as you get older.
