I thought I would need a medium, but I bought a small the first time and they've fit me fine ever since. they aren't tight, but they are def a little snugger than your average t-shirt wearer. well, basically the sleeves aren't as long, but that's all. As for female shirts, I have no idea, because the females I know, only buy adult male smalls :/

Whaaaaaat? Why do they buy the male smalls?

This way you can buy one shirt this week that you can wear all year round.

Congrats Pen, I'm happy I get a zombie shirt! And it's not black!

Does this mean you're giving up the zombie designs from now on? Say it aint so!

So far as sizes go, I'm 5'0 so everything is long on me, but the women's large scrunches nicely at the hips. I'm hoping the women's XL has more room for my overstuffed cupcakes than the large does. The mens large is comfy but very long, the mens medium would probably fit better. I like my shirts slightly snug but not binding. Mainly I have to go up sizes for the bust.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ whatever.

I wonder if they actually differ in shape, or is it just that the men's small is in between a women's small and a women's medium?

I'm 5'11, 130 pounds. I also buy mens small. It fits really well on me.

Girls sizes are indeed different (they have small sleeves)

They also look like they might show skin an inch or so lower than the mens. It's really a matter of preference.

Men can buy Mens
Women can buy mens or womens
Men probably don't want to buy womens.
As for the sizes, I would imagine a womens medium = ~ a mens small.

Can't figure out how to quote appropriately - sorry folks!

I also absolutely adore "All Hallow's Sleep" and it's predecessor...it's so close to being in the Fog of War...I can still hope! I would love to own and wear this shirt.

Good luck!

What do you mean about showing skin 'lower'?

If someone wants to measure his/her men's small, I can measure the women's medium I have.

edit: well the female has: smaller arms, an hourglass shape to the body (it curves in), that's the only difference I can see...
the males runs straight down pretty much.

The women's shirts are not actually hourglass in person, I can tell you that! On me they are, because I'm hourglass, but the actual shirt is straight up and down.

Hah, lookin' good, derek. The shirt turned out really nice!

This is my women's medium:

That's folded/scrunched to the length I like to wear my shirts (a couple inches below my hipbone)- if I unscrunch it, it ends up about where the ring finger of my left hand is.

I also ordered a men's small, but they shipped it separately for some reason and I haven't gotten it yet. But I always hem my men's sized shirts anyway or I feel like I'm wearing a pillowcase. >.>

I feel like Amazon Woman. *sigh* The men's 2X is measuring 22 inches across top of the shoulders, 25 1/2 inches across the body, 29 inches from the front of the neckline to the hem and 32 1/2 inches from the back of the neckline to the hem. I like the men's over the women's because the shoulders are a bit wider, the sleeves are longer and fuller and the body is longer. In general. These specifically run very long, obviously. As someone posted a pre- and post- washing comparison photo somewhere in forumland previously, once I forget and wash these like the rest of my tees, they will probably shrink up to a just-right longness. Or length, if you prefer. (It's early...) For now I'm still remembering to hang them to dry. I like my shirts very baggy (although not to the extent of gansta...) so as to hide the years of too many chzburgrs. : ) A little looser than Pyrin's lovely modeling shows; so as to fall straight and loose from the Twinkies.

Here's my first try using my tablet and Inkscape.

Secondly, Derek, I initially didn't buy the shirt due to the fact that it was on baby blue. However, after seeing it printed it will be here in 2-6 weeks. Nice Job.
Congratulations Pensketch. I'm glad you got printed. It took too long. ;)

justann wrote:THAT I can relate to. And I'm with Snarky about feeling old. I have children older than you guys. I was born in '57. Try that on for size. Oh, and the nasty peanut butter candies have been the bane of my trick or treat bags since the '60's. In fact, it's news to me that they are even peanut butter flavored! Don't think I ever ate more than one. And that was probably in 1962. I used to make my younger brother dump out his candy on the floor with mine, then we would sort everything into piles of like items, then divide them in half. If there were an odd number, my mom got that one. Then we would have exactly the same amount of candy. Which was shrewd of me because my brother and his friends were little twerps who ran from house to house while my lazy friends and I wandered the neighborhoods at a much more reasonable pace. Invariably, his bag was much fuller than mine, but he was 5 years younger and I was bossy. I would hide my bag in my closet and usually find the last forgotten, now-petrified candies sometime near Easter. I always ate my favorites within the first couple days (no rationing of candy by my mom); Reesie Cups (as we called them), Nestle's Crunch, York Peppermint Patties, Malt Balls, any Hershey bars, SweeTarts. Second string were Smartees, Tootsie Roll pops, DumDum suckers. On the bench were, of course, the black and orange mystery candy along with, for me, Zagnut, Clark Bars and Butterfingers. It wasn't until my kids went trick or treating and would give me THEIR Zagnuts and Clark Bars and Butterfingers did I find out that they really are pretty good if you eat them when they're still fresh... : )

Regarding the shirt length: /goes to put on GI Metro and estimate
I'm 5' 6" with long torso and long legs, if that makes any sense. (I need to get long torso one-piece bathing suits, but also misses tall jeans.) I order the 2X, which fits me like an XL. And if you are measuring from your hip bones (if I can find them...), I'm looking at a good 12" below the tops of my hip bones. (Are you saying hip bones to be those bones that used to stick out when I was young and skinny and wearing a bikini?) I also have long arms, and the bottom edge of the shirt is only about an inch or so shorter than my fingertips when my hands are hanging at my sides. I'm guessing the larger the shirt is, the longer it is too. So you folks with the not-so-long shirts probably have smaller sizes, eh?

Edit: Wow, Snarky, you ARE old! *teehee*

Pffffft! Tee Hee

I am putting my tees in the dryer along with the rest of my clothes and they are shrinking in length, but not all that much. They are still Very long. I buy the men's larger sizes also cuz I am larger size from years of too many chzburgrs too and I like my shirts baggy too :-). It must come with age ;-)

Also, ROFL @ 'nasty peanut butter candies'. Do you like peanut butter?
