I'm just hoping that there are dailies that noone wants going behind mine... not getting any serious after-day sales. Otherwise, the fish will be quickly reckoned into oblivion.

He's got waaaaaay too much time on his hands- he's been slapping the design on star trek characters, penguins, etc...

Maybe it's that. I think overall that design has more going for it, the contrast and the balance are better.

Prof. Tek,

Batman peeing.

badboon surfer.
I planned this for a daily submission, and joel made it the theme, which pretty much kills them using it for a daily, at least for a long time. So, in the derby with the baboon boy. Pink is the manliest color if you're a baboon, by the way.

suggestions?

I like the butt My concern is the waves/water look a bit... sharp. And baboon tail probably should be more curved. But overall, a rather interesting concept.... monkey surfing... hmm... I'd also make the baboon do the "hang loose" hand gesture...

Perfect! GM freaking V. Need more of these, less designs perfected by years of art classes with swirly realistic nonsense.

My designs are below- please vote for the Sponge, it's my favorite.

After much pressure, I rehashed my Gone Fishing design and submitted it. Your vote is appreciated:

Thanks! I always have mixed feelings when I get to the point of submission. I have another idea, but I lack the skills to do it. I might try freehand and then scan, not sure.

Actually, that's the best way to do it in my opinion. My sponge design was sketched while I was watching Stargate last night... I scanned it, then traced it into Illustrator...

Ironic, I drew one of Orc's entries (long time ago) while watching Doctor Who, and was just thinking of grabbing some paper while I watch Stargate.

The guy's a genius. I got introduced through the intros of the PBS series Mystery! Probably is the artist that inspired Tim Burton to do everything he does.

Yes, I can definitely see the influence.
It is such a dark subject, but the pictures are great, creepy, not gory.
