That..is a really stupid godzilla.

At first from further back i thought the tanks were little turds. So being viewed by anyone further than 10 feet, well...

Godzilla creamsicles and a running toy godzilla are not what I want to be wearing. I should have bought the hampster shirt.

Maybe it is a dinosaur. But it makes more sense to be godzilla because abram's and f-15's weren't around during the cretaceous period.

I agree, although if I could have gotten through the couple of times to hamster flight, I would have bought that... Darn w00t servers!

I would pay overnight for that shirt. Awesome concept.

This is what you get for voting the 1st and 2nd place derby winners in, people. If you stop rewarding poor style and lack of imagination, then you wouldn't have to sacrifice one good shirt for another.

Cho's design should have taken first, and this should have been second, because it's well done and clever without having to resort to writing the joke into the design.

I'm already used to only having one or two good entries in the Fog, and the other three good submissions being stuck in 5th-10th. Deal with it. My wallet can.

I thought the other dino ones were rather lame...definitely wouldn't have bought one of those..but this one is cute! Then again, I bought the "say no to scurvy" one not long ago.

Just look at the current derby: Remember Pluto? Hey, I'm a member of that group of Facebook too, let's be friends because your shirt reminds me of something that I gripe about for no reason!

And Happy Honesty Day? Man, what's with your shirt? Well, I'd love to show you, but I just got through showing 50 other people on my way up here that if you fold it like this, it says "I don't like you", but apparently I do, because I'm going out of my way to help you understand my shirt! That's the joke! HAHAHAHA

This derby is flawed to begin with, though, so I don't blame the designers for doing whatever they could think of.

I seem to have totally different tastes from general woot discussion board people -- I've liked the latest shirts *so much more* than the older shirts -- I might have to random woot again even though I was *so* disappointed by my last randoms.

cartoon shirts or shirts w/ words aren't really my taste...probably bc they're everywhere. i like the artistic weird shirts! woot had some for $10, cant beat that.

only exception, i like the scurvy shirt that i bought. im a bio major and we had a scurvy lecture not too long ago, and we all kept making pirate noises. hohoho

This is what you get when anyone is allowed to make a design and furthermore anyone is allowed to vote on it. Just proves the fact the majority have neither the taste nor the design skills.

All I remember is Shmeedles saying that he was "totally in it for the money." I think it might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but if I was 16, I probably would be too, so I don't blame him...

I absolutely can't believe cho's design didn't come in first place. Congrats to the designers of the placing entries, but I'm sorry, the wrong shirts won. James, let all of us know how and if we can get a hold of your design, I would pick it up in a heartbeat.

Great shirt!

However, the title should be "Late for work - no time to poop!"

I would totally buy two if the tanks didn't look like turds from afar.

Okay, tomorrow is a new day. Schmeddles (sp) will have made more money to buy a computer and broaden his horizons, and we will be one day closer to a new and hopefully more exciting derby.

Cho, our resident guru, will once again be braining storming and putting his own good health at risk (how many of us remember the pic of his swollen finger from the octopus drawing?) to bring us more exciting ideas.

Hopefully the fight is over for today. Schmeddles (apologize if I am murdering your name there), congrats on your winning entry. Though the originality of your pieces have come under scrutiny, even beyond that, the fact that you were able to pick ideas that the voters would respond to so consistently shows remarkable understanding of consumer appreciation and patterns, especially for someone so young. I hope you are considering a career where that ability with prove invaluable.

Also, you say you are looking forward to express your personal creativity more now that some of the pressure is off, and I want to say that I genuinely look forward to that. That creativity is what Woot is about, and you are a young man with much potential.

Don't be sexist. Broads hate that.

Even if they can't; I'll still love and participate in shirt.woot. I do love the shirt; the design is cute and totally something I'd wear. But, I'd rather get my money back, so I feel like I didn't give any money to the designer. Sure, he has a great insight into people, but I just couldn't stand his cocky attitude. Shirt or no shirt, it's $10 and I'll still be happy. =)

one more little thing:

I can understand everyone's disappointment, but this thread is beginning to sound like a pack of stray dogs. You know how they seem to pick on one smaller/weaker dog and for some reason gang up on them? Well, this whole thing has the ear mark of that.

Honestly, Schmeedles is the winner here and he isn't the one that cast all the votes. He is a 16 year old that, is being picked on like a kid in high school. I am not saying I love the shirt, or wouldn't have rather had Cho's, I am just saying this all is getting a bit overboard.

If you were in his place, would you want others doing this to you? That's a helpless feeling, when you are so proud of something, and others put you down for it. We've all been there, in some fashion.

He won. Cho has certainly won his share. Every doggie has his day. If Schmeedles is simply copying things, then it will all come out in the wash soon enough, things like that always do. But give the kid a break. How many of us would carry this same conversation in person? I would be embarrassed
