Did ya manage a fairly comfortable day yesterday?

I have a question for any drug experts out there. Is 5 days of Avelox sufficient to treat strep throat and an upper respiratory infection? Also, if you barf 30 minutes after you took the pill, do you need to take another?

Dunno about the throwing up part, but any prescribed antibiotic should be taken until the prescription is complete - usually 10-14 days . . .

Avelox is a pretty potent AB for resp bugs......5-7 days is a fairly standard course. As for the vomiting - have you been pukin all along or just after ya started the Avelox? It might not be playing nicely with yer bod. I would call the doc if I was you.

we ultrasounded one of my kitties yesterday - she has a huge cyst between her liver and her stomach but prob not clinically relevant to her weight-loss.....just an incidental finding - but boy that sucker is huge! Not exactly sure why she is losing weight - possible chronic pancreatitis, renal issues, or cancer. Got labwork goin out on her today.
