no - the guy was actually with 2 women and I believe one of them was driving.....and the cop wasn't on-duty - he was there with his own dog.

What did he say to the bum?

lets try this again (kept getting the server error death-message)

he just stepped outta the exam room and stood there for a second - then assumed 'cop pose', walked over to the guy and stood right next to him and said 'ok OUT!' Guy had no idea where he came from - started to argue - so cop said "OUT! I'm a (local)cop - GET OUTTA HERE" and started body-pushing the drunk....drunk was still mouthy but he got pushed outta the door and to the parking lot.

I was in the back when the drunk started in on the front desk - doc said "I think there's a situation up front" so I just went up - didn't help that the receptionist (old office mngr) was arguing with the guy - from her chair, mind you - I just walked behind the desk and stood between the 2 of them and told the guy that I thought it was time for him to leave - by that time he was yelling and the receptionist was sniping back - that's when the cop stepped outta the room and did the cop-thing.

What are the odds that your receptionist's attitude initially provoked him?

well, the guy came in with his cat - did not have an appointment - said he called 'last week' and was told to 'just come in'.... when he was told that no, he needed an appointment, he started to yell, or so I was told by the other receptionist.

Man walks into the vet's with his cat.

Receptionist says, "Do you have an appointment?"

Man says, "No, we live in a townhouse."

My Mom likes the plain shortbread with her morning tea.

The lemon isn't too overwhelming. The beauty in them, for me, is no chocolate.

It makes a difference when you have an allergy. There are some days when chocolate just is not a good idea for me. That's probably a good thing.

It kind of builds if I eat very much. It's almost like I can make myself toxic. I very rarely get to that point, but it has happened when I'm not paying attention. And then I'm sick for a couple days. :/

I ordered three boxes of Lemonades (although I liked the lemon cremes better, but they dropped those) and husband ordered three boxes or shortbread. The shortbread are soooooo good for dunking.

Bad nausea and headache. Very annoying, especially since it's preventable. It's been years since I've done that to myself, though.

college, when I was not influenced by my Mom's insistence to refrain. We knew of the allergy (which initially manifests in phlegm like normal allergies) earlier, but not of the 'advanced' effects.

But, being the bright girl that I am, I have done that to myself more than once...
