Thanks for your intellectually stimulating and, really, spot-on analysis of that repugnant "IT" shirt. Would-be designers like vishneda would do well to heed your critique and cease their miserable attempts at design. Bravo sir, for putting the kabash on such tomfoolery so succinctly and (dare I say) bravely. Please continue to fight the good fight against bad design, lest more of it enter (and remain in) our beloved fog! Huzzah!

Re: Super Fatcat Deluxe

Really?!?
Effin fine design like this and nobody has a comment? I'm gobsmacked.
Still, IF they ever offer this, and IF I happen to find it before they sell out, I'm in for the lot . . . or three. I'll have to see how flush I feel at the time.

Disclaimer: I'm a [borderline crazy] cat person. I thought "The Last Mimsy" was a fine piece of cinematography.

I give this design a big "two dewclaws up".

Hmm. Never realized that blue whales and cruise ships were so phallic. :D Looks like a subliminal Viagra ad to me. I'd buy one. Phallic symbolism not withstanding. All the boner pill spam in my inbox has desensitized me.

It looks pretty assured of its print status at this point.

It's a shame really... I don't dislike this idea as such, though I'd never buy it myself, and if it had placed during its original derby, I don't think I'd have cared at all. The issue I have with it is simply in the context of THIS derby. I don't fault the designer at all, it was designed to be easy to "get" and garner quick votes, but in a derby such as this one, where a good half the designs not only COULD be printed, but SHOULD be (and I'd argue this one is in that half), it's a shame for some better design that it's poised to be top-3.

Again, it's not that this is bad. It's just not this good, to me.

I love the design... but the steel greys into the oranges.... I dunno. Maybe if this was in a different color scheme. I understand what you were going for, especially with the title and all... and I love it, but it wouldn't fit into my wardrobe at all.

The other down note for me is the color of the shirt. I destroy white shirts, and cream isn't that far off.

I'd love to see this done on either a navy or cranberry shirt... but that's just my $.02

The 70's were way better than those pallid old 70s. The 70's were a time when nothing could come between the love of a 0 and an S. Nothing.

Language is fluid, and I'm only saying that because I'm terrible with words

Language IS fluid- hence w00t as the word of the year. This isn't language fluidity, it's just bad grammar.

I love the total left brained quirkiness of this shirt. And the goofy cartoony art style. I wish the text was a little clearer and easier to read in the comp, but I bet it would print just fine.
