Not me. But AZ has to get up around 4:30 or something like that. I think he has to be at work at 6.

Yikes. I gotta get up at 7 and I thought that was early. Poor AZ...

He prefers it. That way he misses rush hour traffic both ways. I believe he gets off work at 2:30. Cuts his driving time way down.

Don't think that would work for my students... although some of them might be still awake at 4 AM...

Doing fine, thank you. 20 more pages of a job to read tonight. About 75 pages of a book I'm reading that I'll probably finish tonight. All in all.... And you?

That is a lot of reading! I don't think I did that much when I was a reader. I'm fine, what ever it was seem to be gone, unless it is just trying to mess with me! Can your own immune system mess with you?

It was probably just working overtime to protect you from that virus in the future.

Haven't heard about the kids lately, everything good there?
So after being over 60 this week, it is going down to 0 with the chill factor tomorrow. That should be fun.
pooflady wrote:How so?
it means people are out doing stuff and not on woot.

It's 12, feels like 1 here now.

So, if everyone gets a life, there's no Woot forums, and you think that's good?

Daughter took a practice LSAT in Boston to see what she needs to work on with the review course. Her score was good enough to get into a not so great law school. She realized that it was timed, yet she would go over and over the same question. So she should be able to do well, if she does the review course and works on the OCD stuff. Son called because he found out he needs to take two exams to get into a doctorate program. He changed his mind what type of psychology he wants to study. I may have to pick TeckTek's brain after all.
Hi Cruzer, back in your normal life again?

What type is he talking about now? I really don't think I'd like having one of my kids as a psychiatrist or psychologist. I'll bet they'd be really patronizing.
pooflady wrote:So, if everyone gets a life, there's no Woot forums, and you think that's good?
Are you saying it isn't?
dontwantaname wrote:Hi Cruzer, back in your normal life again?
kinda sorta not really
pooflady wrote:What type is he talking about now? I really don't think I'd like having one of my kids as a psychiatrist or psychologist. I'll bet they'd be really patronizing.
Ahhhh, but I think clinical pays better. It is too expensive here to not think about that. He and his friends are sort of attached. None of them survived alone too long! They all stayed less than 5 hours from home and actually make the drive to see each other. Besides, he is totally patronizing now!

Getting into the new "normal"? How is dad doing?
cruzer wrote:Are you saying it isn't?
No. I have a life, but I like being on Woot, too.
dontwantaname wrote:Getting into the new "normal"? How is dad doing?
Yeah, pretty much. I guess he is doing pretty well. They are saying he might be taking steps by the end of the week.
cruzer wrote:Yeah, pretty much. I guess he is doing pretty well. They are saying he might be taking steps by the end of the week.
That's great. What about his job? Will that be held for him?
You just went through a huge chunk of real life. You must now realize that being on woot because real life is boring , isn't all that bad a thing.
pooflady wrote:That's great. What about his job? Will that be held for him?
We'll he's got about a year before we have to worry about that. Government jobs are nice like that.
dontwantaname wrote:You just went through a huge chunk of real life.
That's an understatement, I think... It seems it has always come in big chunks.
cruzer wrote:That's an understatement, I think... It seems it has always come in big chunks.
Well, it isn't suppose to be that huge a chunk. Or at least it is suppose to be only one, not two at a time.
