Today at the Neil Gaiman talk and book signing in Cleveland, I saw a bunch of Threadless shirts, but only two Woots. The first shirt I saw was The Aviator (http://shirt.woot.com/friends.aspx?k=8662) and the other was Class Time used Effectively (http://shirt.woot.com/Friends.aspx?k=9599).

Interestingly enough, those are both shirts I own, but I was wearing Threadless' Attack of Literacy (http://www.threadless.com/product/1235/Attack_of_Literacy). Neil said he liked my shirt.

Went to the World Beer Festival in Durham, NC and saw two Woot! shirts. Some guy stopped me while I was in line for beer and commented on my "Donut Panic!" and I saw he was wearing "The Epic Begins". I later ran into a girl wearing "You Have to Try This Guys".

I had a few people ask to take a picture of my shirt. I made sure to tell them all about shirt.woot. I suppose if I had been more sober I probably would have seen several other shirts as well.

Saw "Vincent" at the Hillsboro Farmer's market yesterday. I said to the dad of a family, "hey, that's a Woot shirt". He looked at me like I was crazy and then eventually said, "uh, yeah". His wife piped in and said, "I wish they'd have long-sleeved tees" so I guess she must be the Wooter.

I saw Tgentry's shirt from the Mystery derby at a Renaissance Faire this past weekend. Can't remember the name of that shirt though.

Vote!

Awesome!

I saw Sonmi's Rock Paper Scissors outside Fenway last Monday night. I was not at Fenway, nor was I in a woot. But I WAS getting my face rocked off by Sunny Day Real Estate.

I was at the gym on my campus at 5 in the morning for crew and I saw someone wearing Infinite Pi. Totally called him out on it, felt really weird, split my jacket to reveal A Rare Occurance. Loved the little connection right there. I am always looking though haha.

Tonight at the local gentlemen's club, this DJ named Stiffler from a local radio station was wearing Stop Motion while hosting the amateur night competition. I happened to be simultaneously rockin The Original Blue Hedgehog.

And my friend won/made over $400 shakin it (fully clothed) on stage, so it was a good night.

Saw From Your Sink Since 1900 on a customer at work this afternoon. I mentioned it to him, but didn't make a big deal out of it. It is a nice shirt though. It printed great!

Ok this is the funniest thing ever. I was just informed by ahagenmaier that my shirt was seen in the wild. Look closely at the picture to the right in the story. So this is the type of people that buy my shirts huh http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20091012/NEWS0107/310120012/Man+accused+of+voyeurism

On a side note I feel really bad for the girl involved, but this is unreal.

The red guy's looks familiar too, but I can't place it. First thought was cmdixon's "the last day," but it's just not right for that. I don't think it's a woot, tho, just familiar

Here we go. Forum regulars AGrant311 and faughtey with Wiley and Baron at the Londoner, participating in Operation Kindness's Howl o' Ween. Baron got scariest costume, and Wiley did not participate since I was on the committee.

bbbeluga and mrtuba9 (who PM'd me directly), thank you so much for the heads up on this siting of 'Oh BURNED!!!'. I did a ton of searching (since I couldn't seem to get the iCarly video from yesterday up on my computer) and I found out that someone took behind the scenes photos of the shirt!!!
So I present the shirt to you:

Spencer (Jerry Trainor) with his stunt double:

Spencer and stunt double suited up for mechanical bull scene:

I'm assuming this is the stunt double since you can't see his face:

That's just flippin' awesome! I don't care that I don't watch the show except in passing. Having a design on a TV show (in a positive light) for me, is a definite highlight for the month! :D

It's been noted most, if not all, of Spencer's T-shirts are from Woot Shirt, Planet Funk and Threadless. I know people have also shown Spencer wearing The Madness of Miss Stereo, but have you seen these?:

WanderingBert's Finding Technicolor

I haven't actually seen a picture of it, but this excerpt from a write up I stumbled across should be helpful to nrarmen, designer of Some Motivation Required, so he can keep an eye out:

Kris Dangl (Costume Designer for Spencer on iCarly) wrote: "I recently got him a T-shirt that said, 'Get some exercise,' and it shows a stick drawing of a human being chased by a T-Rex. There's a whole part of the script this week where Jerry [Spencer] is obsessed with the 'beavcoon,' a beaver raccoon. I found a T-shirt of an armadillo with a bull's head."

If Kris Dangl ever ventures into this thread... I so <3 you right now...

UPDATE: thank you mrtuba9 for linking me to this (click to view video):

Uffda, my eyes were closed. But the woot shirts look great! You can't tell from the picture, but Baron was wearing a jack-o-lantern garland on his shoulders and back, a skull necklace, and two crows attached to his collar. He went as Scare-Dog, to go with my Scare-Person woot shirt.
Finally got to meet the adorable Wiley! He would have easily won the best costume if he were allowed to compete.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. - Unknown

It took me way too long to find them. I did a whole write up about it on my site, though. The guy beside Jerry in the photos is his stunt double, Ryan Happy (also the person who took the photographs - or rather, had someone take them with his camera). It took a Livejournal fanfic blog to finally reveal their whereabouts (I'm a little weirded out by that). The original poster of the photos gave me the stunt double's myspace page info and you can see the photos there as well in his album along with some other movie/tv behind-the-scenes snaps.

I attended the Big Apple Comic Con here in New York over the weekend, and expected to view a woot shirt or two. Unfortunately, I only spotted one, on Friday afternoon. Someone was decked out in "Turns out Carmen Was In San Diego".

I myself wore VonMonkey's "The Awakening" today, as I figured an awesome t-shirt would draw people's attention away from my raging hangover. -_-

Considering he couldn't make the effort to find out when it was being reckoned (and then whined like a ninny when woot didn't specifically notify him of said reckoning) it wouldn't surprise me to find out he doesn't own one.
