Shirt.Woot

I saw a woman wearing "Rosie the Retrogamer" in downtown New Bedford a few nights ago. My first woot sighting in my hometown.

I was aproaching a table in a BJs in Dallas TX and stopped dead, pointed and cried "woot." Everyone at the table thought I was crazy except the guy wearing the Fresh Cake shirt ;)

The dude left me a fat tip too. Loved it.

This is technically a woot sighting. I was wearing Squeeze last night at a local market, and a girl said, "Hey, that's from Woot." I normally don't say that I'm the designer if I'm wearing one of my own shirts, but since she actually knew about woot I wanted to tell her who I was (maybe she'd vote for me in the future!) So after an awkward 2 seconds of indecision while I mulled all of that over, I mumbled "I drew this," or something similarly goofy. Then I was embarrassed and I got the hell out of there.

I think it would be so cool to point out a woot shirt and to find out the person wearing it was the designer of the shirt!

I had 2! sightings this week on the Iowa State University campus. The best part was they were both shirts that my husband and/or I have. The first was Fractal Tree by a guy on a motorcycle. We were stopped next to each other at a light, my husband didn't want me to say anything, so I chickened out. The other was just today, a guy wearing "The Epic Begins". Again, I was too chicken to say anything...

The only recent sighting that wasn't embarrassing to recount for the people wearing the other shirt was Loopy's "Cats With Weapons." I said nothing. I rarely -am- sighted though. Which isn't overly shocking. I'm wearing Tall Pipes today. Only I'd recognize that one.

I was at the Ohio Renaissance Festival today and saw walmazan's Fresh Cake on a guy walking across the parking area as we were driving out. I saw another shirt I recognized but it was a Threadless shirt (Hiakus Are Easy) not Woot.

I saw a couple shirts at the St. Louis Project: Comicon.

Squeeze and that Godzilla / King Kong making out shirt.

Nobody recognized my "Convenient Tiny Chair", "Splattermare" or my TeeFury shirt "Born of Thunder and Rock"

although all 3 of my shirts got compliment from many people on their coolness...

I totally just recalled that I was walking the east side last week and I saw shan's See-Sawlitude. Or however it's spelled. Which is far and away the oldest I've seen.

Saw both Pandemonium and Fractal Tree on two different days at Northgate Mall in Seattle. I was not wearing a woot shirt one of the days, and the other day I was wearing Nighttime so I'm not surprised it went unnoticed.

Saw 2 guys at Central market in Poulsbo WA, one was sporting lament of the kiwi, the other, boots' apathy shirt. Alas, I was wearing a hoodie that day, but I did mention that I loved their woot shirts, and that I had about 100 myself.

I saw a TON of Woot shirts at Anime Weekend Atlanta last weekend. I gave up even trying to remember what all I saw. lol

The other was a man in the cartoon ninja turtles w/ the test tubes laying around (ick).

I went up to both people and said (quite enthusiastically) "That's a Woot! shirt". They both seemed pleased, or at least somewhat amused and confirmed that it was indeed a woot! shirt. I said "Mine is too!" and ran off...

I bought this shirt for my son, also. It's one of his favorites.

I saw two people wearing patrickspen's "The Black Hole" while walking to class the other day. Typically I am not caught off guard by seeing other people wearing woot shirts since I go to a pretty large university, but I have never seen the same shirt twice in one day, much less twice in a 5-minute span.

A friend of mine wore A Simple Question of Weight Ratios this weekend, though I'm not sure that counts since I know he's a Wooter.
Conversely, I was spotted by someone else once. I got a random friend request from someone noticing me wearing The Epic Begins and Squeeze in some photos.

We just hired someone that is a wooter! He was wearing a red shirt with a large, angry tree on it and I think the tree was raking his own leaves... I don't quite remember. But it looked wooty. So I asked where he got it, and he said his mom had picked it up for him from woot. We then proceeded to talk about how otterific woot is I was wearing Sqeeze at the time.

Anyone know what shirt he might've been wearing?

I saw a dude wearing pandamonium walking between classes at VT, I kinda just kept staring at him and never said anything... so I'm fairly certain he thinks I'm creepy!

I used to never see shirts on campus either except on the people I knew wooted but I'm seeing them everywhere now, its so exciting!

Saw a little kid wearing @-@ (which, coincidentally, is a pain to google search for, even when you know the name) at Hershey Park on Sunday, but didn't say anything. I was wearing Secret of the Sharpener at the time.

Saw the ventriloquist character wearing boots' "The Apathy Coalition" in a promo for this week's VicTORIous episode. Nickelodeon costumers seem to have caught the shirt.woot! bug.

Yep. That's me*. Thanks. It is exciting. It's nice to win a non random contest (and an iPad has been at the top of my Christmas/Birthday/random national holiday even if it's Canadian list). Plus, it will be fun to see what people come up with when Goodjoe decides to let the artists have a go.

I can't believe you've never been! I moved to CT 10 years ago, and I've only missed making it back one year since. Bungee trampolines, whoopie pies and beef jerky, what more could you ask for.
But the tiger show was pretty sad, actually. I do not recommend it

Only saw a few Woots this weekend at Wizard's Big Apple comic convention. I expect to see a lot more at next weekend's NYCC.

Just saw Donut Panic on some kid at UCLA.

I saw BootsBoots' Think of the Children on a woman at Rudy's BBQ in Frisco, TX!

I was at target picking up a video game and the guy in the electronics department got the game for me and said "Oh, by the way, Nice shirt from shirt.woot.com!" It had me laughing all the way to the parking lot!!! btw, it was the Weight Ratio's t-shirt

I saw a couple at an autozone in Frisco Tx their daughter was wearing the cuteness overflow shirt. I thought about saying something but somehow commenting on some couples child's clothing choice just sounded creepy no matter how I ran the sentence through my brain to mouth filter.

I saw a customer wearing "The Power of Giving" (http://shirt.woot.com/Friends.aspx?k=10075 [yes, please copy/paste since links don't seem to like me >_<]) at work today. I took a double-take, since I thought it was a woot shirt, but I wasn't sure. Finally, I got the nerves up to ask the guy, and we then had a long conversation about woot. I was also wearing "coffee stain cats" (http://shirt.woot.com/Friends.aspx?k=15832) at the time.

Had a lot of sightings at this weekend's New York Comic Con. The event was more crowded than I've ever seen before, so I suppose it makes sense that there were vast numbers of Wooters among the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds. I'm sure there were many more than I have listed here, considering that my claustrophobic self steered clear of the main show-floor for most of the 3 days.
