I see they let you out of probation, and you're trying as hard as you can to get back in.

If you are a cat lover then aren't you sad that someone has tossed this little kitten into a lake. Death is einent for this little feline. Soon it will join my pile of cats that was rejected for being too intense here last week.

Nah. The cat lovers realize that it'll be an honor for this little kitty to join its ancient brother, the sabre-toothed tiger, in the inky blackness of the La Brea Tar pits. A small sacrifice.

I like the whole "six-pack" play on words. It may have come off better if the cans were on their sides laid out like abs. Still like the concept though!

I just saw that my shirt has been rejected, and honestly, I'm somewhat dissapointed that woot has consistently chosen my fogged designs to clarify their derby rules (often going against 20+ weeks of precedent) Oh well.

I won't re-submit this week. I've had my fill of whiny comments for a while and I'm not particularly eager to satiate them by reposting.

Example:"...not sure why you think the rules don't apply to you when it comes to these things, but you frequently skirt the rules and it's pretty unfair to everyone else who abides by them."

I mean dang, brotha. What exactly is causing all the latent hostility toward yours truly? Did you not get enough hugs as a child? Did I somehow manage to slight you in some way (real or imagined) at some point in our communal derby careers? Calm down son, it's just a friendly competition.

Additionally it's really difficult to regain momentum after a rejection (even an early one) Just look at Fablefire's 'Neverland', or my 'Voodon't' from last week. If you're in the fog and you get rejected, you're pretty much out of the running for the week.

yeah, woot has a naziesque approach about them.. I can't pinpoint everything exactly, but they is shifty pplz!

I'd say you're a mole, planted here to tarnish the kitty's legacy, but from your shirt I can see you are clearly a rat! just kidding. Kitty is not helpless, there's like infinity of them on the internets-- they can just extend an internet tube or something.

Yeah, sure, it's been done before...but never with a high-end pro camera...the "touristy" angle is good for the other ones, but it's time for a Big Kid's camera shirt! I hope it wins! And, YAY for it being a Nikon...sorry for all you Canon shooters...

Re: Couldn't afford a hoodie (resub)

This reminds me of Fire fly, in a reverse sorta fashion.

Fire fly was an awesome show that Fox cancelled mid-first-season, because it wasn't drawing an audeince. Since being cancelled, the show has grown and grown in popularity (the DVD box set has been Amazon's #1 item for like, forever, or something), but it just didn't have the audience when it was on the air.

Inversely, people (on the forum here) don't seem to like this shirt, and yet it has all the votes. Weird.

When Fire fly was cancelled Greg Weismann (creator of 'Gargoyles') asked "Where was the audience".
With this shirt in the fog, I ask "who are the voters" and "are they really going to buy the shirt".

AdderXYU wrote:It's more than a shirt. Yes, the item in question is but a shirt, but it's also $500 a better design deserved. Giving that prize, the printing, the ability to make tens (on an unforgiving reckoning) to thousands (if you're Cool Breeze) on next day sales, to some of the shirts that make the fog is unfair to the hundreds of designers who submit often and consistently put their heart into something, whether it's brilliant art or just a good concept. It's like taking your best employees, sitting them around a table to brainstorm, and then giving the errand boy a hefty raise for knowing how you take your coffee.

i've submitt often and consistently put my heart into these shirts, ive ended by getting rejected from the fog ended in the top six elleven and top 20 on numerous ocassions... i've had designs that i've spent hours on go nowhere, but i keep on truckin, ive been submitting since the begining so don't tell me i'm undeserving...

Oh come on, leave off. The cake shirt is still selling. You think woot cares about what we in the forums consider quality? It's a business and they're making money. They care about wooters, but there is the majority thing.

I really don't like the hoodie shirt and didn't vote for it because I wouldn't wear it. That doesn't mean much though, now does it?

PS - Bryan, nothing personal. I just don't like it.
