I googled "operation tee shirt" and then i went to threadless and did a catologue search for "operation". I'll try your approach next time.

Does woot allow betting pools? I think we could have fun betting on who will get rejected first each week. I guess that would be too hard since people would intentionally make rejection ready shirts.

I was shocked to discover that shirts can be rejected for content not printed on the shirt! That's a good one to keep in mind...

Re: Suck Up That Coffee, You Pucker!

Nice One Kenney! GMV.

Reminds me of "The IT Crowd" episode where Roy is working on someone's computer and she set her coffee cup on his back. He had a ring on the back of his shirt the rest of the episode. Hilarious.

VOTE!

Ok, two comments:

1) No, the gears won't spin as much on an actual shirt. The illusion (like pretty much all optical illusions) relies on having a flat piece of paper. Also, the refresh rate of a computer monitor makes this effect much, much more pronounced than it would be printed on a shirt.

2) Way to trace the first result on Google Images.

Re: Chest Cat

Why do some people say that ceiling cat is anti-semitic? I seriously read that on encyclopedia dramatica (it is not a nice encyclopedia). It makes me not like his otherwise cute little voyeuristic face.

I've got a feeling it's going to be rejected, but I guess I'm just hoping they'll make it so I can buy my own.

I can recommend other t-shirt places where you can get your design printed for cheaper.

Re: Pocket FishMan

Super cute design, but it looks a little weird on the women's shirt. Maybe 'cause women's shirts don't have pockets, so I guess there's nothing one can do about that.

Anyway, gl.

Your composite only shows part of the gun, but your detailed image posed in this thread shows the whole gun which is it? I think you're better to go withe the image of the full gun and let the user tuck it in as needed.

stevgtguy wrote:What a whinny little post whore. Didn't you learn your lesson on the cupcake shirt? Just keep your mouth shut and let the people decide. If Woot feels it does not fit the Derby then they will reject it. I'm sure you are going to write some dissertation in response to this post, but unlike you I have a life so don't expect a response.

LOLOL! You're so cute. The only lesson we learned is that sometimes things don't work out. Oh Well

It does fit the derby, very nicely; the issue here is plagiarism. And I wasn't going to be bothered with it before, but thanks to you, the shiney tattle button is calling my name. So hopefully the cupcake shirt and this one will have something in common, they won't work out. Oh Well.

No response!? Awesome. Finally.

gargrazz wrote:Man, how do you call for a theme on realism and not have the process to do it?

Yeah... there's a lot of really fun, creative things I had swirling around in my head when I saw the theme, but then I remembered the printing restrictions with both placement options and no gradients.

Then again, some artists have done quite well in working with solid colors and the placement restrictions, like Skektek's pocket fish.
