i didn't look much at it, but, what's the point/idea behind this shirt? i dont have time to give it much thought and from a glance i didn't like it so i'm not going to bother...

Brown, makes it so i can wear it any day.

Reason? Well, it is appropriate to wear green on st pattys day, but that much green and some leprachaun may seem like you arent letting go of the holiday, or whatever reason. I think Brown is a great choice, and i love brown shirts to begin with!

False. Green just makes it easier for people to realize the context of what's on the shirt.

This does not have to be a St. Patty's day only shirt...and didn't any of you think to wear green underwear?? duh

Also - the sleeping bird is either drunk off the bottle of rum, or the pirate stabbed it with his sword he left behind after taking all of the leprechauns gold coins. See the little leprechaun looking over the hill where he thinks his gold will be....only to find that those damn pirates won again. Arghh!!

Good call, I missed that. Still, no green... To be honest, when I think of St. Patty's, the first thing I think of is green, then Irish, then alcohol. I assumed it was supposed to be the pirate's parrot passed out from the rum. ??

I really like the design AND the color choice. I can't wear t-shirts to work anyway, so I don't give a hoot if it's not green.

People, there are other clothing items you could choose to wear of the green variety.

I wonder why its not green too. Still it's amusing! Wear green pants, green hat, or green shamrock sticker with it. Perhaps will wear it before the big day and then the tilting-at-windimills (GREEN) shirt on the day itself. It's a very cute design.

The Woot lords did this shirt a dis-service by even mentioning St. Patricks day. They should have just left that comment out and let it sell on it's own.
Plus, they should have posted a real St. Patricks day shirt(Green) in enough time that people would not have to pay extra shipping. Bad move towards good will.

rant time. woot! what is the deal? i'm really going to start tracking the colors that are offered each night. it's almost a sureshot these days that the shirt.woot! is going to be BROWN or GRAY. it's really stupid. i h@te it. i hope it dies. the colors that is. i have SO many BROWN and GRAY shirts from you that i refuse to buy any more. well, after tonight i tell you. i promise.
also, good luck getting a holiday shirt from woot! without paying the overnight shipping. i have not seen one offered with enough time to spare to get it by the holiday. but i did pass on a holiday shirt and i really hope i have the opportunity to buy it. maybe woot! will do a xmas in july thing. anyway it was the shirt with santa and it said "xmas is ribs." i want. i have plenty of brown and gray shirts to trade for your xmas is ribs shirt if you want. pm me.

Ditto for me too. I even looked for green in the rainbow to no avail. PPL - there's supposed to be green between the yellow and blue. and orange between the red and yellow - don't you know what rainbows look like?

Alright enough! It's not St. Patty's day - it's St. Paddy's day damnit - whoever heard of an Irishman called Patty? Pat maybe... And enough with all the talk of clover - it's shamrocks - they are a type of clover, but we don't call roses just flowers on Valentines day (another Irish reference for those who didn't know he is buried in Dublin).

And yes, I am Irish (you know, from Ireland).

Yeah, I was going to say the same. I wear green and my husband wears orange...neither of which are represented on this Un-St. Pat's Day shirt.

Jeez, people still run around pinching others on St. Patty's day? I thought everyone kind of grew out of that once middle school was over...

I think it's a nice design, and a nice color for a shirt. I'd rather wear something like this for St. Patrick's day than a random green shirt with no relevance to the holiday (my "Say No to Scurvy" shirt, for example).

I like the shirt, but I don't think I want to wear a rainbow. Brown is fine-you can always add a shamrock pin for St. Paddy's Day and you'll look stylish, but I can't get passed the rainbow. I know, I know who cares what other people whisper about you, but I just can't.

Why are you so bothered by rainbows? If they make fun of you, tell them that you are endowed with the luck of the irish and are offended. ;) That'll teach 'em.

The brighter colors in the foreground bring a lot of attention to the pirate objects, which to me makes no sense at all. The coloring is way off on this shirt, and I don't get the appeal of buying/wearing it.

Really? Cant get away from monkeys or pirates even for St Patty's Day? Really? The end is nigh.

One thing that bugs me is that the colors of the rainbow are in the same order as the colors of the things on the ground. Another is that the Leprechaun is lost amidst the brown. Isnt this supposed to be HIS shirt? Shouldnt the Irish parts of this design be more prevalent than the Jamaican parts of the design? [Port Royal]
