No, just that you show the color properly. This doesn't look like the color on the template. I've linked the PDF file there but if you go to the submission page you'll find several different types of files you can use, although I think you know this because you have the shirt in your comp...but just in case. ^_~
mjc613 wrote:That's good news. What does the text say?
ARGG! ARGG! ARGG! (This shirt is rated ARGG!)

Re: fingerprintfingerprint
I do not agree with the rejection... Every one knows no two finger prints are the same.... and the swirl pattern on the one you guys linked is in a different spot.... I'm just sayin'.....

Are you sure it's not 6 shades of gray?
byrbwr wrote:sorry but what misspelling was on the first one?
Yorik, instead of Yorick.

I like this shirt it GMV, but is the question mark there just to help the shape? or does it mean something more? hope you win
Re: dragon fly
I think this is an awesome design... what's going to kill you is the bad comp. If you can, pull it, or resub with a comp that features the design and a smaller shirt showing the placement. Just my .02.
jeremynjaxx wrote:Pac-man's got ta go!
Yeah, as much as I love the little round eating machine, this is very similar to the one in the fog.
I likes it!

Re: I'm A Gamer - Says so on my shirt.
Waa?
Re: Hiding in the Words
We've seen this clipart ninja in entries before. Granted, yours no longer counts as clipart but it was still the first thing I thought of.
superspryte wrote:False. Gradients in the detail are not allowed. In the comp still happens all the time. In this case both the detail and the part of the comp with the shirt are solid. I think it will be fine.
Thanks for confirming, volunteer mod. :-)
Re: Bath Time!
Your shirt and your thumbnail have different background colors. I think this could lead to a rejection, so I recommend pulling this entry, putting the thumbnail sketch on brown like your shirt and then resubmitting.
Re: Predator and Prey
Is the red your signature? Unless it is in the form of an object, that could get it rejected. I can't tell on my screen if it supposed to be something.
jeremynjaxx wrote:Hilarious . . . not sure I'd where it tho . . . :-) i would if the "fix' were more prominent maybe
Wear it fishing... At least, that's where all the men seem to chat about their... issues... on the commercials.
What game is this supposed to portray? My DH is a gamer, and this doesn't look familiar.
Re: Going Bananas
I just realized that I have people to buy gifts for who would love this!

I'm speaking based on precedent. I can't guarantee anything on behalf of the rejectamatron.

It's a mouse.

I understand. Who can fathom the mind of the rejectinator? :-)
JadenKale wrote:We couldn't use text for that derby though. As it is, Joel may reject it because we couldn't use lyrics due to the fact that they are copyrighted. We'll have to see. I do like it though, Soothed. I seriously hope it doesn't get the ax.
Thanks ladies! Since it only actually says, "If I could save time..." I don't think there is any copyright infringement. (Plus they don't usually bother to reject stuff this far down in the voting, heh.)
Re: MORE COFFEE LESS SLEEP
brillant idea...I think this is perfect for woot wouldnt be surprised if this placed!! kudos
Re: Beside the Golden Door (RE-MADE)
great idea! well done I am a big fan of black shirts woot doesnt seem to do them enough ....I'm not sure if its just me but when I think of the statue of liberty I think green.
Re: i am an ostrich
Give the ostrich some love!
Re: SAXOPHONE MUSIC
very cool sax. Very creative letter use to get details! I'm wondering, though, if because the swirls aren't text it could get rejected...
SkekTek wrote:Wear it fishing... At least, that's where all the men seem to chat about their... issues... on the commercials.
LMAO!!!!
superspryte wrote:It's a mouse.
OK. I thought I saw the letter M, and assumed it was the signature, since it didn't look like Meat. (At first I thought this was a bigger cat like a house cat, until I saw Meow as one of the words.)
mia3mom wrote: I'm wondering, though, if because the swirls aren't text it could get rejected...
this is the coolest shirt in the derby and I hope it doesn't get kicked out! and that several hundred more people agree with me...
mxmvlcty wrote:this is the coolest shirt in the derby and I hope it doesn't get kicked out! and that several hundred more people agree with me...
Shirts have been rejected in the fog. Coolness doesn't add into the rejection equation. But since I have no idea which shirt this is about I can't say anything about whether it will be rejected or not.
Re: The Poet's Arsenal
I love this! I wish more people were voting for it.
Re: Alas poor Yorik
I have two problems with this shirt: first, the "Alas, Poor Yorik" is in a too highly recognizable font, which makes it look cheap. The bigger problem is that "Yorick" happens to be spelled with a C almost all the time. I realize that there are different folios and editions of things, but I would never wear a shirt with "Yorick" spelled "Yorik" because I'd get mocked.
This shirt has been resubmitted with the correct spelling Go vote again! http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=12426

The mouse's body is made out of "PREY," with an M for ears.
hookajoe wrote:Are you sure it's not 6 shades of gray?
Well, it could be. That would be good. I hope for the artist's sake that it is.
thewarrior wrote:great idea! well done I am a big fan of black shirts woot doesnt seem to do them enough ....I'm not sure if its just me but when I think of the statue of liberty I think green.
Glad you like it. It actually is a very, very pale shade of bluish green, sampled directly from a photo of the statue herself. A lot of times you'll see the green exaggerated in artwork of the statue, but I decided not to go that route... I prefer her natural complexion. :-)

I'm an English buff (moron?) and will be sad if I can't buy this shirt. Besides, do you realize how many teachers could score cool points with their students by sportin' a Lincoln-Gettysburg Address-shirt.woot! T?!! Wow! GMV for the shirt and for the want-to-be cool[er] teachers!
