haxrox wrote:Once upon a shirt woot website
Where consumers clicked their delight
Over many faint and spurious designs of varied decor
Suddenly there came a spamming
As of mockers bent on ramming
Ramming memes into this store
"Tis- tis surely just a fad," I stuttered,
"Ravens being made galore.
Soon they'll cease this strange encore."

Aaah, succinctly they dismembered
Submissions that once engendered
Every tender heart to bend and offer up votes by the score
Eagerly I hoped for Thursday
Surely that would end this cursed play -
Play to unbalance the score -
Plans of teenaged antics staged to overthrow what I adore
Till rejectors take the floor

Everything about that is awesome.

I think this shirt is fraking awesome, I wish it would win, but if it didn't wish I could find a way to get this.

If a shirt doesn't win, is there any way to get it printed elsewhere?

I -really- like this shirt, and while technically I could sort of duplicate it myself, I don't think it would be as good.

Since I know no Asian "alphabets"/characters, I do not know what this says, and therefore, do not know why this is insulting. Can you please tell us what is wrong with this, to educate us?

The person hiding under that false name is just trying to start something. They recently also entered a shirt that is trying to bash woot.

However, back to this shirt.... i think the text is too small (going by some of the other rejections).

You will note that the person who made the entry also made a comment along these lines as well. Dual personality!EEEEEEK!

I really like this robot. I think it might be getting passed over because of the color scheme, but I'd really like to see this printed. I'd buy one. It'd get my vote if it had a better colors. Awesome idea, though.

Well, troll aside, I think saying Asian text is a picture is a stretch. In previous derbies it counted as text itself so this will be rejected for not making a picture.

free speech isn't really an issue when there are private companies like woot and myspace involved. It's their playground, we're just here- and some people seem to feel the need to scribble graffiti all over the toys that don't belong to them.

hahaha, good one...
certain to be caught up by the rejectionator, especially earlier in the week, though I'm sure you expect it, and perhaps why it's submitted so late to maybe try and avoid the watchful eye, but I digress

Hmm, just went in for 3 Randoms, when I haven't bought any shirts lately (although still checking frequently) so what are the chances of liking them!?! Oh well, couldn't pass up the mystery!

What I ment by mOOron, (not moron) was that both Raven shirts were, and still are, in the fog. Let's choose one and let Honest Abe have his glory. You're right, I want to be a cool teacher too, especially if I wear this the day they have to recite the Gettysburg Address.

Only the government can't suppress your speech. Companies can do whatever they want - your vote is your buck. And they'll gladly lose yours if it brings in 10 more.

Re: Alas poor Yorik

I see another face in the skull and its distracting. Where the eye socket is, there is another round black area to the right, so those two areas look like eyes to me, and the black area below that looks like a mouth.

Cool design though. Maybe if I was more of a literature nerd I'd be a bigger fan, but there are only so many classes you can take when you're in the college of engineering.
