Re: Wet And Windy

It's funny that you say that because originally this shirt was on navy and used blue tones, I will consider playing with the colors again because now I do remember the brown/black thing. Thanks for the feedback

Re: Take me out to the ball Game

This is honestly one of the best shirts that depicts MOTION for all that it's worth. Too bad wootsters haven't caught on to a cool design when they see one. Instead, everyone votes for the cartoon ones that look like they've come out of a little kids book. Not to dis Wootsters, by any means, but I don't think this is the place for graphic designers to succeed... cartoon artists, definitely...

Yeah... I realize it now.. the lines were getting tiring (the dotted lines are my second idea) and it was 3am.. I wish I didn't have a concert tonight, i would have worked on it tonight =/ Thanks for the input tho.

Thanks. I think I'm going to remove it and resub later tonight though - I think it's gotten buried. And hopefully I'll have finished another design by then...

superspryte wrote:Even though you have the outlines the black on navy isn't going to show. You might as well let the shirt color show through so there isn't such a large sheet of ink if it prints. ^_^

I like the fish and the overall feeling of it.

The blank ink would still give it a little bit more depth though... and if you wash it properly, the black could give off some shine from light sources, I believe.

Thanks for all the feedback, yet another tough derby. BRB gonna go cheese

I would also love to see this in blues, instead of browns! Although, you could keep the blues on the brown shirt?! Or do the blues on Navy and change the color of the wind so there isn't any black (same with color of girl). I think this design rocks though!

I love the idea. Great concept. But some naughty kid in me, deep down inside, wants the image rotated about 90 degress so that the swing's throwing her upwards. :-)

Or maybe that's just how my siblings and I did it when we were kids. :-)

I think you might get rejected due to the no flying penguin rules. Although, I don't know.

I feel like less ink is always superior, but that's just me. Blame it on a couple discussions with Cho, hehe. Anyway, I agree that there might be some added depth from it, but in most cases it doesn't work (look at Nessie...you can't even see the black).

The only reason I said anything is because I like it. ^_^

Hi Narkus. Yes. As soon as the lineart derby is free and clear, I'll put the orange dog up in my cafepress store. I'm still visiting family and will return home next week.
