yeeter wrote:Very nice Skaght. It has a very ink and brush feel to the style. How did you make this one?

Thanks yeeter. I draw using a tablet and Flash. It's a lot more "organic" than anything else I've found, but I still have the benefits of vector art. A lot of the splatters were just standard Illustrator brushes. The art was somewhat inspired by Posada's Don Quixote and a drawing of polo players done by Ralph Steadman.

Re: The invertebrate marathon

The marathon. It breaks many participants, who never return to their former selves. Others strive, and show their mettle.
While Worminsky has a lead, with Slugby right behind, it's Shellston who's the clear favorite, thanks to his stamina. With the energy stores in that shell, he's NOT going to run out of slime.

The other two? time will tell...

Re: Karma in Motion

haven't you ever thought about heaving a bowling ball off of a brick building on to an unsuspecting fraternity jock below, only to revel in the delight that his helpless, and promiscuous girlfriend, will now seek comfort in the first person she sees? (hey, maybe that less-than-average looking gamer up at the top of that wall..)

exactly. here's to you.

I most recently rock out in Lust Is Like A Flame, but am almost always seen wearing Jimmy...Is That You?. In addition, I am the proud member of 26 total shirt.woots.

I *love* the idea behind this shirt, however the bunny's face seems a little strange to me. Just a small critique from someone who wants the hopping bunny!

it doesn't appear too sexually suggestive. plus the alice shirt didn't get rejected and it could be argued that shirt was much more sexually suggestive than this one.

I'm afraid the Greek symbols on the guy's arm and the girl's shirt count as text. You should resub without them!

I like this. It's classy. Would def. get one. Reminds me of the old Hobie line of clothing and some of the classic Ocean Pacific. Does that show my age?

It is very easy to see the Dr. Strangelove is the inspiration for this one - great job on the art work! It is NOT overtly sexual in my opinion, but it is visually appealing. Now if the "cowgirl" were wearing something more revealing...

I had the turtle idea before the derby opened, and the only similarity is in the animal. The subject matter is quite different. But I do appreciate the constructive criticism.
