I'm moving to the Tokyo area.

Living costs in Japan and especially in Tokyo are famous to be among the world's highest.

In Tokyo, Japan, in the Shibuya neighborhood (which is the equivalent of the upper East side in New York), you'd pay an average of $1.84 million for a 1,450 square foot two-bedroom condominium. ... In New York, on Fifth Avenue, you'd pay just $1.3 million for a slightly larger two-bedroom apartment. In the Pacific Heights neighborhood, in San Francisco, you'd pay only $900,000 for the same apartment.

>_<;

EDIT: Okay I was up until 5:30 this morning so I woke up late (long story) so it's time for my run before it gets too late and I miss the new theme!

Hai Guyez!
I just found out a local magazine publisher is interested in me!
I don't wanna get into specifics yet, lest something go awry, but could ya'll send some good vibes my way?!

Not sure if you should post that? This slightly-nsfw-flowchart will help.

But since you speak of tulips, I want to go to the Holland, Michigan Tulip Time Festival this year. Unfortunately it's this coming week (May 3-10). My friends live out in Holland. ^_^

Maybe Michigan's problem is it has so much going on. ^_~ Although in all seriousness tourism is huge here.

More gorgeous tulips! The tulip rainbow of colors brightens my day.

I guess I should put Michigan on the "places to visit" list - It hadn't gotten much love. I hope the economy is better when you get back from Japan. (I hope the US economy in general is better soon. please?)

Hey, I have friends *from* Holland. Er, the country... They make my blondie look dark, and they are all so incredibly polite.

Which reminds me, I read my girls a story recently about a girl who misunderstood that a boy was from Paris, TX not Paris, France.

I do think his popularity as a designer has helped some lesser shirts of his win, but it's not like they couldn't have won anyways. I didn't like tycoon of ice, but treacherous waters was really cool. Mine should be here today.

Almost ordered the tycoon one, but held off because I have to be really, really super-sure before I order, or else I may never wear it. I walk around town wearing Koi Fish and get tons of compliments.

Aren't the Dutch just so nice? I used to collect antique perfume bottles and had a supplier in Amsterdam. I've never dealt with anyone so courteous in my entire life. He always said the most perfect things, and with such old world manners, and he was in his 30s.

I love the fact that guns of any kind are forbidden in Amsterdam. They are simply not allowed, penalties for possession are quite severe, and nobody has them, not even the Police. At least it was that way a few years ago.

I'd appreciate a moment of silence for my fallen brothers and sisters.
Seriously, though, that vacuums. First, can you imagine having to clean up a bunch of duck corpses? Second, it's really, really sad. Poor guckies.

Cabinet ministers said the government investigation will focus on why Syncrude didn't move more quickly to deploy the cannons.

Deploying cannons solves all problems.
