Re: Mo-om... he’s squishing me!
How very strange! I am also one of five children with a mother battling breast cancer. I'm pulling for this one. Best of luck!

Wow... a lot more families of five out there than I thought. I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I send my best vibes out to her. Thanks so much for your support.

Perfect!
Re: Story Time
I like it. The colors especially. I wish Woot had glow in the dark inks - they would be great for parts of this deisgn.
Re: What she Really wants for Mother's day
That's great! GMV I'm surprised it's not doing better.
Re: Give your mom a flower every once in a while
Little one's wearing a woot shirt and mom gets to be naked? Cute design
Looks fantastic!
Are we voting out of sympathy or quality.
thewarrior wrote:This is a design my mom would wear, esp since she hates the fact I have so many tats Was this whole design created by you? it looks really familar
It's based on the whole Sailor Jerry *style*, but I drew everything by hand from my imagination (except the words, which are a font). The heart and swallows are a really common theme, though, so I'm sure you've seen something similar.
Re: Teach Me How To Jump Mum
Thanks for all the vote!
I love this image! Any chance we can see the bigger version?
I miss super pickle.

They have printed a daily with glow-in-the-dark ink. But, I don't think they've used any on a derby shirt, yet. But, you're right...this one would be cute with specialty ink.

And Super Pickle misses you? :-)
Re: Little Red Motherhood
Clever! I'm not a fan of the blue background but good job.
Re: All Hail The Queen Version 2
nice job
Re: Egg Baby Trauma
Love this shirt. That poor little egg. So shocked his eyes don't have pupils! :P Poor baby.
Re: Mothers Day As A Child...
Awww, look at the sad little boy. A bit harder to understand without context (even with the subtitle) but cute nonetheless.
Re: world's greatest mom
so does the red on the little guy mean he's getting eaten?
Re: Dragonly Love
So precious. Wish woot could do sparkle paint or something on the knight. Because, honestly, knights taste better when they're shiny.
Re: [url=http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=13871]Adam
I like the idea and love the mitochondria, but the Y chromosome looks weird. And the color scheme makes them look a bit to "earthy" (i.e., the Y chromosome looks like either a worm or poop. )
Re: Modern Avian Motherhood
wow! This might be one of my favorites
Re: Unconditional Love
Very cute
LOVE it!!! Good placement, expressions...everything!

Re: Smokin' Hot Mom (resub)
Fantastic! This is definitely one of the best designs this time...
Re: Computing for two
I love WTTF and this shirt is just that simple technology humor that makes it so unique.
The is version 2 of my entry...someone suggested to me thatI needed a bigger thumbnail because mine was way too small to notice and they were right. So I resubmitted with a bigger thumbnail and a few small tweaks.
Chugaboy wrote:Little one's wearing a woot shirt and mom gets to be naked? Cute design
He's wearing a woot shirt! Actually, I had an apron on her, but it looked exceedingly dumb, so I made her, yes, lacking of clothes. But she's got fur...
Brilliant, man... Great take on the idea. Hope it gets enough votes to get up to the top!
Have I mentioned how great this is?
i would definitely wear this one
Webfoot08 wrote:Very imaginative and creative!
Thanks WF! Something a little different.... TG - Love the Bird entry. Great idea!
Zenne wrote:Little red riding hood becomes a mother, and faces the ultimate daytime show question - who's the father?
Hehehe... you'd think the father would be obvious, depending on the amount of fur the baby has. Great shirt! :-)
seebach33 wrote:so it's just a threat is it? .... that's crystal clear. i dare say that those items were actually used and it is a bit naive to think otherwise
Oh yes. That I disagree with your assessment MUST be because of naivete. It can't possibly be because my opinion and/or experiences are simply different, and just as right/wrong as yours. I am proud to be the granddaughter of a woman who threatened to whip us all with a wooden spoon that hung on her kitchen wall. I was 33 when she died, and she had still never taken it down for anything other than a good cleaning.
Webfoot08 wrote:Very cute and appealing - was there a Tim Burton-ish inspiration for this one? I love his stuff, too.
Yup, I like his stuff. I didn't look at a particular drawing of his to do this, but I wanted to get the same feeling.
Chugaboy wrote:nooooo you got it all wrong! You should do it backwards/mirror imaged. Like this http://www.scaryideas.com/print/6803/
*giggles*, I was looking at that poster and thinking, "that's not actual Russia, what the hell?" Good concept for a poser though, they pulled that off rather well.
gacibula wrote:Leave it to the woot community to ban a perfectly good shirt...
I know I so wanted this shirt.
If "chuck norris as a housewife" is a perfectly good shirt, I don't want to see the bad ones.
I had another shade of purple I was using throughout the pic that really made things pop, but it ended up to be 7 colors, I kn haz sadness?. Colors are HARD
