the new stove arrived yesterday. woohoo i can cook again.
countertops arriving in a few minutes and the plumber is coming to hook up disposal and sink on monday. by monday night i should have my kitchen back. *dancing with joy*
being without a kitchen for 3 1/2 months has been a reak trial. did learn that there is not much you cannot cook in a crock pot tho.

Making a bunch of telephone calls. My mom moves into assisted living tomorrow. Last week she said there would be a household sale and asked me if I'd like to come up for it. I said sure. Discovered last night that she told my sister that I was really enthusiastic about it (?) and I was going to handle it all. Uh....

So we're going up the 17th and coming back the 26th or 27th and I'm canceling and switching things we had scheduled for that week.

Yay! Last student left! So, I'm packing up and relocating to my office for the impending 1 PM EST shirt.woot frenzy.

Still trying to figure out how "sure" turned into this.

What about donating it all to a local thrift store? Find one that would come pick up all the stuff. Hire a cleaning service to finish cleaning out the house. Cut your stay down to two days tops!

No, there's furniture and large appliances and she can use the money.
