MKugs wrote:Also, am I the only one that did mine completely freehand? Some of these are amazing.

nope. Most of the designers I know did things freehand, either going straight to a tablet or scanning a sketch.

Some of the designs are astonishingly fabulous! I'd love to know what happens in their brains

Re: Turtle in Heat

Shells don't have ventillation. They don't have AC. It makes racing in the summer nigh impossible without collapsing into an exhausted, sunburnt heap.

Every vote received will contribute to magic that will cool down revive the poor reptile. Help a turtle out?

The boyfriend and I are already fighting over who gets to buy this one. We both want it hardcore. Great showing once again, Mr. Gentry!

Ah, those lazy, hazy days of summer...

And what could be more evocative of summer than a cookout?

Hot weather.
Raw seafood.
Late night visits to the emergency room to have your stomach pumped.

So, whether you're cooking in Cleveland, barbecuing in Boston, or grilling in Gulargambone (which, technically, because they are in New South Wales, Australia, means they celebrate summer in the winter. I think it's due to some sort of Southern Hemisphere metric system thing or something), enjoy the summer and Throw Another Shrimp on the Barbie.

Love the new blue. I really hope this one gets printed or at least gets an honorable mention. I would buy one for both of my siblings (and myself, of course)!

Re: When Life Gives you Lemons.....

The formula for winning a woot derby:

1. give faces to inanimate objects
2. make them cute
3. show them being horrified or disfigured

kidding aside, this is a pretty cool design and a good idea, gj cho.

Re: I HUNGER!

I love the sun character, it looks perfect, but I'm not wild about the color, though at the same time I realize you needed it due to the 6 color rule. Regardless, this is a pretty sweet design and I hope you can creep into the fog with it.
