So I ordered my first Woot in a WXL and it fit perfectly. Unfortunately one washing and that was all over. I hopped on to ordered today after deciding I needed to go a size up for shrinkage... No WXXL? *gasp*

It is on the size chart. Is this just a fluke? If not can any of the ladies tell me what size they order in mens? The WXL fit after being washed.. but I am just too busty and it looked stupid!

I'm so bummed! I am a medium - large in "normal" girl clothes. How can I be too freakishly large for a Woot? :'(

I have the same problem.
The worst part is the womens is shaped nicer and the picture is usually smaller. I like it so much better. I have one, it is too tight on top after I washed it.
I find the sizes are about 1/2 size smaller than what I am use to. I take a WXL , or ML in non woot shirts.
The mens large is just a tad bigger on the bust and does fit after washing. It is also not clingy in the middle (I have a few rolls of fat that I would prefer not to show)
So, look at the chart and if you think the ML mesurements would be right, you can order that.

Or we can go to TX and demand the WXX !!!! They gave in with the mens XXX .

I'll send you a PM and tell you exactly how big I am on top, so you can decide if the ML would fit.

I asked Joel about WXXL when they first started with the WXL. Back then he said no way.

WE LURV YOU TOO! Dork!!!

I would also Like a wxxl. It is much needed for those of us who have bigger bumps.

Isn't there a thread for this request? I need the WXXL too.
Sigh, I guess these guys aren't *ahem* chest men.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty cool in the men's large. I usually wear a wxl normally.

I wasn't going to stay up. Drat! Foiled again!

DRAT!! It is random shirt day and I am still trying to figure out my size!! Guess it will be a ML. Thanks for the comments, they really helped!

Anyone have any idea who we can whine to? I mean, I titled the thread this way to be funny but I'm not fat. I am tall and... *ahem*.. "blessed". It pretty much vacuums that anything over a C cup has to wear mens clothes.

Since it's random anyway, you should consider ordering different sizes to experiment.

Maybe try getting one and washing it differently? There should be ways to wash it without shrinkage.

I appreciate the help, but that is a lot of work for a t-shirt. I am going to try a ML (when I can get one) and if it doesn't fit properly it is time to give up and spend my cash with a company that has my size.

Try washing in cold & not drying at all. I'm "blessed" a bit as well & like the WXL, although more so before washing than after. I've given up on trying to keep them out of the dryer though, I've got too many at this point. I've lost a bit of weight though, so I'm not having too many issues. I did order a MS the last Random Shirt just to check out sizing & it was pretty much the same as WXL, but less form fitting.

Wash in cold water and hang it up to dry = no shrinkage.... its not like it takes more work... unless you are really that lazy... and you should be washing in only cold water anyways, better for the environment!

Of course cold water! With my front loader that saves water! I am just worried about forgetting to fish it out of the wash. One tumble in the dryer and it is toast.

And the requests for pics, I would post if I hadn't already given the shirt away. It was actually pretty funny. :D

I would really appreciate xxl in women's sizes too. How is Men's 3X comparable to an XL for women? I normally wear XL in normal girly shirts. (I am also "blessed") and it makes me sad to always have to order mens shirts. Come on, woot! Give us ladies one more size!

I believe I fall into the same group as you fine woot women, not necessary fat, just curvy in the right areas, so if woot did sell a WXXL I would buy!

All these girls are having to order mens shirts?!? And honestly mens shirts never fit right. They a too big in the shoulders and the sleeves hang down to my elbows.

I wonder how much harder it would be to process one more size.. especially since they offer a mens 3X!!! Even if they only tested it for a couple weeks to see if it sold. Does anyone know who to ask?

If nothing else my company does have a Dallas office. I'll look them up next time I'm in town!

Same problem here!

Normally I wear a WM or WL ...on woot I am a ML(after buying a bunch in the WRONG size sigh) and it works fine just not as nice as the womens fit...If you have "lumps" ML is the smallest you should go I could fit into a MM except the boob problem and this way I don't have to worry about washing...
Here are some of the woot shirts on me in a ML hope it helps!

Also note the see through nature of the yellow color!

Sell WXXL woot!

For serious. It's like, hey I have tree ants and I don't want to have to squeeze them into
A: a shirt that was sized for the Olsen Twins
B: a shirt that was sized for someone with NO tree ants

Also, maybe once in a while, you offer up something for the ladies? Maybe something on Pink?

Dangit Woot! Do one or the other! Either one will make me happy!

I have written customer service about this issue before. The more voices, the better.

I'm usually a women's XL and my daughter wears a women's M. For Woot shirts, I buy her a WXL (tight with cold wash, line dry) and a men's XL (loose with cold wash, line dry) for myself. I don't like shirts that pull too tight across the bust unless they are some type of knit. Of course the sleeves are too long (I roll them up) and the waist is too big (oh well), but I am not a person who sews; otherwise, I would stitch a curved seam through the waistline for a better fit.

It's a shame. I have a lot of Woot shirts, but they don't really fit that well. My Fruit of the Loom Mens Tshirts fit better (and are sexier)!

While we are on the subject....what about V necks????? Crew necks drive me bananas! Since so many women have to buy the men's sizes, you would think Woot would want them looking "mighty fine" in them".

I ,too, vote for women's XXL. Let's get some real sizes in here for real women!

I too have to vote here for the WXXL.. I hate the fit of men's shirts, and have passed up on at least 6 shirt designs I would've bought for myself if they offered larger women's sizes. I can get 2x or even 2x woments vnecks on cafepress, so why not here Woot!? Shirt shrinkage + boobage just doesn't fit together with what you are offering!

Do the designers still own their designs after Woot uses them? Maybe we could just ask them to post it on both sites so we can get the size we want?

I found a staff member in another forum and sent him a private message.. no response yet.

It's like this: I'm not fat but I definitely have an obvious hourglass figure. Basically, it's the opposite of the beanpole-in-a-training-bra look of the American Apparel models. Sure, I can stuff my hot body into a men's shirt but I look way less attractive in it because it's like wearing a paper bag - my figure is totally obscured.

As it is, all of the designs are placed at optimum breast-gazing level so... just bring on the WXXL and the V-necks and that will make all of these great designs MUCH more interesting to look at!

If the design is printed, woot owns it forever. Only exception is if it gets printed as a DAILY - I'm told that woot offers a second contract where the designer gets a 50% pay cut but gets rights to the design again after a (lengthy) period of time. Most don't take that offer though.

Dead inanimate objects are well loved though.

I heard that Derby owners get their rights back after 60 days. That true? If so I think we could contact some "losers" to get realistic sizes.

I have a Woot hang drying in my laundry room right now. Fingers crossed I can still fit into it after it dries!!!

Of the WXL shirts I have bought so far still fit after one washing in cold water, however I've recently tried the MM and it has this gathering issue around my waist. Recently on threadless during their sale I ordered two different WXXL shirts so I hopefully can offer a better comparison for how they fit. I would much rather prefer to have shirts that auctually flatter my figure by not restricting my breathing or look like I'm wearing a bag. Just my 2 cents.

I think you mean "derby participants" or "derby losers", but yes, that's right. Usually.

According to the terms and conditions, Woot can still choose to print losing designs within those 60 days. I don't think they've ever done that before (except for when they printed 4th place finisher(s), but I don't know the circumstances behind that/those instance(s)) but theoretically they could, and if they did they would own the design forever. But if the 60 days pass without woot using the design (almost always the case), the designer can choose to have it printed up elsewhere.

They have done it one other time...they had an "editor's choice" week once that featured Derby designs they liked that had lost.

As far as I know, woot has printed non-winning shirts only 9 times, not including the top 3 in the big do-over

Four when they implimented the fog/top three printings. There was one from each derby that only had a single winner, and most were top 3 in their respective derbies, from what I can tell:
See-Sawlitude
Fire Swallower
Duct Tape Man
GI Metro

One 4th place shirt, Urban Ice, December 24th... Woot's call was that it was in the "holiday spirit"

Four editor's choice from the first Do-Over:
Comparative Diagram: Size
I've Heard of the '70s
A Hound's Tooth
Eating Healthy.

Presuming they do another Editor's Choice after Do-Over 2, that will be 13 in one year. While I'd hate to see too many dailies sacrificed, I see no reason that a site that sells 365 shirts every year couldn't up that number to 25 at least. That's one of the biggest changes I'd love to see in the second year of shirt.woot

I did write Woot about larger women's shirts. I normally wear a 1x (typically larger than xl) or 2x depending on the brand so I am guessing I would need a 3x based on how the men's shirts fit me. They told me they would concider it. Keep writing in. If enough people request it, perhaps it would happen.

I would *love* a WXXL shirt size! I'm sick of passing up designs that I want because I know the WXL won't fit me. It's only fair, too, when they're offering MXXXL. I'm not looking for pink or a v-neck, just the equivalent of a normal WXL.

A women's XXL would be great. I like the way the women's shirts fit better, but shrinkage is definitely an issue, and I usually just end up ordering the ML shirts instead.

After hang drying the WXL does fit after washing.. but remembering to fish them out of the washer is going to be a pain. I'm sure there will be some that get forgotten and ruined.

I wrote in to someone and didn't get a response.

I still like the idea of getting losing designs printed on cafe press. I am going to start keeping a list! Are there any other sites that anyone knows of that are similar to Woot but offer more realistic girl sizes?
