Re: Jealous flower

Green means nature, growth, jealousy, and aliens. The alien ship comes down from the skies, and waters one flower, and one alone. That flower thrives, with greenery gathering around it. The non-watered flower is green with jealousy, watching the other flower grow.

& the Gaggle of Girls; so many shirts, so little space in the dresser!

Re: Green Raisins Are Weird

Have you ever been given a cookie that had green raisins in it? Ok, raisins in cookies should be out-lawed but green raisins are just weird.

llonvent wrote:Doesn't the shirt itself have to be green?

nope.

Your design must be on a green (or grass) shirt, or include at least one green ink color, in addition to dealing with "green" conceptually.

Re: Green (Olive) with Envy

I realize this is a pimento, but for some reason I keep thinking it's one of those chewy cherry flavored candies you get at the movies. In which case, the other olive is better off. =)

Very well drawn, but the total lack of color on the grass tshirt make it appear unfinished.

very well illistrated though.

Four, if you count the t-shirt. Or maybe that's the subtle joke. Very nice work; I applaud the incorporation of wordplay into a difficult theme. GMV

(FYI... the green olive is an ink color, not just the shirt color peeking through.)

Just something a little artsy. Ideally, I'd like it to be subtle but I know how tricky olive can be so brought the colors out a bit.

Re: A Hope for a Green Planet

While this is a nice shirt, it looks to be black, not one of the shades of green, and thus will get rejected.

Nice idea, but it's been done quite recently at dbh

Bought it for my gf. Terrific shirt, nice use of puff ink. Too bad the guy's color looks horrid. I <3 Shel.

Not the same. The one you linked is a taking tree. This one is angry about the carving. They're both similar in style because they're parodying the Giving Tree.

Re: The Lincoln Stink-Eye

Hello, shirt.woot community! With this entry, I officially burst my derby cherry. That's right, it's my first design. Hope you like it!
The idea, I guess, is to make it appear that the wearer's shirt is a large 5-dollar bill, and that Abe, for whatever reason, is not particularly happy with the viewer.
Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks. I agree it's different enough (but of course I'm biased) from the dbh shirt but it's really up to woot to decide I guess.
