Apparently fire-fly (minus the hyphen) turns into Roseanne through the filter. Interesting.

He likes to camouflage himself to the colour and texture of the shirt. He's a silly chameleon.

We'll see what they say, but it's not really text. I overlayed text upon text, so they end up being abstract shapes and not text.

Re: Green Fairy

There was a scary and imposing Fairy on the ground, and I was scared of it, so I threw my plain green shirt over it, and STOMPED AS HARD AS I COULD! Just like the smiley shirt in forest gump. I am in for 3.

I was on the fence all night about whether to color him or not but decided a lot of people (including me) liked the subtle look better. Thanks for the vote!

Re: The Green Side of the Earth

Everyone knows yellow and blue make it.

Everyone knows recycling is a prism that makes clean green light from blue and yellow pollution.

Vote for my shirt and make everyone turn this week's theme color when you wear it!

Please vote for this shirt, it is clear, concise, well designed, tells the story and I want one.

Re: It's not easy being plaid

love the idea, but can't quite get behind the singularity and centered placement... do another version with maybe a trio o' tree frogs?

Hmm, just went in for 3 Randoms, when I haven't bought any shirts lately (although still checking frequently) so what are the chances of liking them!?! Oh well, couldn't pass up the mystery!

Re: The color, texture, and shape of money

An experiment I started before this derby. Trying to see how much visual information could be in the same space. Here we have shape (Lincoln), texture (Franklin), negative space (Jackson), color (Washington), and outline (Hamilton). All image originals are public domain.

It uses green ink. Please read the derby description again. It said to use a green shirt or green ink.

On a green shirt or include one green color :3 But I read it as having to be on a green shirt at first too.

I -love- this design and I really hope it makes it. Summer or not its worth a save till cooler weather.

I don't gamble.

I'm just saying that the concept is different, though the inspiration is the same. If woot rejects, I expect the reason would be that it's too similar to the original children's book in style. But it is a parody, and DBH is probably a good precedent to show that the parody is safe enough.

But really, it's up to woot. I see a difference though.
