Thank you once more, very kind.

It doesn't look like it's going to storm this derby, so it'll go on my site, or somewhere else, depending. I'll let you know where it ends up once the 60 days ticks by. :-)

If you like mythical animals, enjoy browsing my site! All of the work is my own. Why, yes, I've been doing this for a while now, why do you ask? If you're looking for my Woot entries they're here at my other site. Thank you for your interest!

tgentry wrote:I think it's a pretty positive design. The whole idea of recycling is to reuse instead of throwing it away. If it was a trash can, that'd be a different story...

Nice design, Shan. It's very clean with appealing colors.

Thanks T I knew when I was making it that it could be interpreted in a couple of different ways. This is much less negative than my original plan for the design, which was to have God's hand dropping the earth into the recycle bin. I did it this way instead because I wanted it to have a positive meaning.

green is for camouflage

No one likes to be disturbed (let alone eaten) while sleeping. A little camouflage can be helpful there....

Will Woot count this as on topic, though? And is it 16"x20" print area or smaller?

its 16"x20". I'd have the design across the entire shirt if I could.

Re: Frog on Black

I like this one a little better than the full frontal frog. It's kinda like the frog is riding around on my shirt and I just haven't noticed yet. It'd be slightly cooler if the frog was near the shoulders, but that's probably harder to print.

No they don't :3 it's has to have green in the design -OR-... be on a green shirt.
Though I almost thought that it had to be on a green shirt when I gave the rules a preliminary glance as well.

tgentry wrote:Personally I think it's a pretty unisex design. Origami, tortoises, and rabbits aren't really gender specific (well rabbits are if you call them bunnies I guess). . I don't look at it and say, wow that's a girly shirt. But if you feel that way that's fine.

Also it's on cream not white.

I tend to agree with most criticisms mentioned in the forum, but in this case I completely agree with tgentry. After attempting to look at this design from different perspectives, I still do not see how a 25 year old male would look stupid wearing this shirt (I'm 26). In fact, in most instances I would argue it is completely appropriate.

Another outstanding collaboration, but personally I'm still leaning toward the Weekend Warrior!

I like the stars better. I do like the arrows, but sometimes I just want to wear a shirt that doesnt have to make a "statement". Plus, I don't recycle all that much so I would feel guilty!

Well, technically, 5 is an integer - not text. Believe me; I have to worry about conversions from ints and text (and floats and datetimes...) all day long.

And in this instance in particular, you're not "reading" the integer as much as recognizing what it symbolizes. Venker hit the nail on the head.

Thanks for the posts though!

According to Woot's rules, anything that can be found on a keyboard is text, no matter how it is created or displayed. So the 5 is text in this situation.

I'm guessing from other comments and my extended family's time spent watching the game last night that this is related to the celtics.

thats scary. does that mean arrows are text? I'm looking all over my keyboard imagining how easily rules can be abused.
