I love it but I wish the shirt color was a different green. I might still buy it though.

Cool, as long as we agree it's not clipart.

I think the thought bubble is overkill on the idea. It could stand alone better, and more subtly without it. Also, I think it looks like a cherry mike and ike

Re: Not Easy Being Cliché

I think I might actually prefer this on white, but I understand why you wouldn't use that colour.

Well done, crazyA. My favourite part is the slime I think, although I also like the detail on the leaf and the frog's zonked out expression.

Edit: I think you need to resub this. You used a gradient in your design detail and I believe that has been cause for rejection in the past. Check derekfilley's unofficial rules compilation... I think he himself had a voodoo doll design rejected from the quitter's derby because he used a gradient. Having one in the shirt comp is fine though, as far as I know.

i like the method and execution of it. my only problem are the stumps. the design is strong enough it doesnt need them.

that's right. I have the "What Dreams are Made Of" shirt and the angel is fairly high up in the corner but it's not as close as this leaf design.

thanks for the heads up. I don't really have to the time at the moment to do any changes, plus this design isn't going anywhere fast.

Re: A Hope for a Green Planet

From Al Gore's Nobel Lecture

We, the human species, are confronting a planetary emergency – a threat to the survival of our civilization that is gathering ominous and destructive potential even as we gather here. But there is hopeful news as well: we have the ability to solve this crisis and avoid the worst – though not all – of its consequences, if we act boldly, decisively and quickly.
