You need gradients, transparencies, a turd and flying penguin, at least, (but a photograph of Britany Spears using woot would help) to get more than DamnSkrub.

I'll have you know there is translucency in the detailing on the turtle shell, thank you very much.

Hermit crabs carry their homes with them, but the prefer to have some amenities not available in their shells, so they gather together and inhabit the sandcastles left by beach-goers. Hermit crabs must protect their castle home from other critters.

OK...I have to admit it...I am not a fan of the whole pirate and ninja meme and don't think I've ever voted for a shirt of this genre. But this one is pretty damn funny, thoroughly thought out and very well drawn. Love the details including the pipe falling from the parrot's beak.

I have to agree here. Normally I wouldn't buy a pirate shirt (except maybe as a gift for my friend, Pirate Pete) but this one is just too amusing and well-drawn for me to pass up. Very well done!

Thank you both so much, I'm really glad you like it! I actually had more details I drew but had to cut from the final illustration for the sake of the composition.

Re: Man on the Moon's Condo

I capture in this image a rarely captured image- only NASA is aware of the life and doings of the man on the moon. All we see is his expressive face staring down at us, but finally we know it is due to his big home, his pool, his swing, and his cow. Oh, and the awesome view of Earth.

Re: Protecting the Castle

in case anyone's curious, in the design I used razor clams, regular clams, scallop, periwinkles, mussels, and sand dollars - all things that can be found pretty easily in my area. Imagine a lady-slipper carriage with the princess inside, trotting down the walk out of the castle.

AdderXYU wrote:Is that the argument du jour? Weak.

Mr. Cho has not even had a shirt FOG, let alone win, with under 600 votes since Lyrics (Cat-Fu, 553) and only one print under 500 since the last do-over (Patriot Wings). Which means that, with the current paranoia scenario, Cho would need over 300 (if we presume the majority of votes come from friends) to 600 (if we presume only his friends ever vote for him) friends to keep himself winning. The truth is, even if Cho did have a certain guaranteed vote bloc every week without question, it would drop him well short of the fog in any reasonable scenario... he would need hundreds of extra votes to not only hit the fog, but maintain it for days.

Of course, that is to say nothing about the anomaly on this shirt. 10th place. About half the votes that the fogged entries have. Sure, there is a Cho in the fog at the moment, but this shirt was here Friday, and the other was not. If Cho has soooooooo many people voting for him as to make it change his chances at the fog, why would his first entry be all the way in 10th, so far away from the fog? Does Cho only have 150 people in his coven of dedicated voters? Must be the case. And as we all know, 150 votes is plenty of votes to keep someone in the fog all week

cho isn't cheating he is just talented... i think cho tgentry and a handfull of others are some of the most creative, talented, and original artists around...

i wish i had even an 8th of that, and so do most of the haters.

this is actually one of my favorite cho's of all time

actually i dont think anyone was starting an arguement adder, i think u just like typing

This is completely random, but the pirate dad reminded me of something from a Frank Zappa Album cover...

That's all peaches and cream but you're giving him way too much credit. If this thread was the only one one where I've seen him post, sure I'd partially agree with you and say that he is a criti.c with very little artistic ability of his own, but at the same time he is going about it in the wrong way. But alas, this isn't the only thread I've seen him post him and from just a few of his others I've seen pop up I can say with certainty that he's just a simple message board troll.

Don't worry though. I've seen them before on the internet a few times and I've heard they go away if you ignore them. I think that could actually work.
