Re: Comfy at Home

I know this is WAY late, but Ive decided to just enjoy the task of inventing something to the themes shirtwoot gives us. I had fun on this design and I love angels, but its a lot easier to make angels girly. lets see how many men are comfortable with their mascalinity enough to vote on this shirt! Thanks

lovely. Even with the unconventional placement - it still has great balance. Even if it's late - a great submit. got my vote friend.

Omgosh, I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to look at the derby lately, but, I have been hoping somehow this could reach the fog! Just got home and so excited to see it. This is an awesome fog! I am also in love with kdeuce's giant peach which rocks my world. Even just the tree alone is perfection on that shirt. Some of the best art I've seen. I also love sokowa's and beefy's so I will have to hope for a tie because I love them all. Congrats redghia. This piece is truly innovative and stunning. Brilliant.

This will be one of my favorite woot shirts of all time. Your artistry rocks my world. That tree is magnificence. This design is so different than the norm.

I am using the Woot template, and my design is completely within the 16x20 rectangle. It doesn't look like there is a chance it will be printed, but it shouldn't be rejected anyway.

whattheproblemis wrote:Oho! Look who just learned to curse! Please point out to me where, in my post, I'm "whining like a baby". I think, for the most part, I tried to be very objective. I even said the squirrels are a decent design, just I didn't like it on a t-shirt. And I'll even agree with you that cho and gentry are artistic and witty. But to suggest there's no cyber clique? Well that's your opinion, but I have mine, which is better, in my opinion. I've seen it almost every single derby since the light one where cho puts in an entry and it SPEEDS to the top. Now granted, most of his stuff is quite awesome, and he's a very talented graphic designer. But I think quite a few people click the "I want one" button, but really won't buy the shirt. They just think it's good art. But the derby isn't about "good art". It's about the best t-shirts. And this week, I happen to think the squirrel shirt isn't the best.

But yeah, maybe my mom can buy me this rhino shirt. Or is it whino shirt? I can never tell.

all you've done is whine and complain, though babies do it more intelligently. poor, poor little spiteful thing you are

Thanks for noticing the subtle stuff. It is fun trying to do little things like that without being too obvious. I had to change the whole design around from the way I was first thinking of it in order to make sure the heart was over the wearer's heart.

In any case, it does give me some new things to play with, though I know more about Illustrator than Photoshop...but far from enough about either.

And congratulations on reaching the fog! GL.

Ah, I forgot to mention the "Spacing" checkbox under Brushes/Brush Tip Shape. Some of the lines were placed individually, not most. You'll see when you try it.

Fogged for a time, 5th now, but things have been moving in the right direction -- no reason to stop now!
