Irrelevant wrote:I was all over this one until I saw the comp...the actual jumping kid is not needed. from the detail picture i put it all together, and loved conceptually that this kid had all this energy to go out trick or treating, then got home and ate all of this candy, and so much energy he had to leave and go do something else....very A.D.D. unfortunately the comp shows the kid jumping up in the air and that throws it all off for me.

just a dude and his opinion though, please take no offense.

I would respectfully disagree. I think the jumpng feet set it apart from a standard Holloween shirt. GMV

In internet time, 10 months is forever. There are a good number of folk that were around for the first 20 derbies or so that aren't here anymore.

Which reminds me, where in the hell is Pensketch? goelzjs? discodancing, samryan, annie22, duneboo, killopo, pyrin, derekfilley?

I would have to agree that the feet are a good thing. The derby is about "energy". Without the feet, this shirt simply shows a kid who dropped his candy bucket. The feet are what tell the story. Great idea

Same here. Hopefully, anyways. This is the only shirt close enough to the fog that I would actually buy.. C:

The printed design won't have the same impact that the preview does unless the colors are changed by woot.

Now, Adder? What's goin' on, man? You're dragging this design through the mud because the guy made some poor color choices based on the wrong template?

If it makes it to print, the colours may very well be changed. As you pointed out so well, the dark brown inks will most almost definitely be lost in the shirt colour, which is unfortunate.

The colour choices aren't based on the wrong template though. I posted a simple image above showing that the template colour is correct (even if it's a teensy bit off in hex code, the difference isn't noticeable). The problem is that the monitor doesn't always reflect how it'll look on a shirt. Using black on a brown template seems alright, but printed tees show that even that colour choice is questionable.

Re: Energy lost at each step until caffeine

I'm with ubetteryoubet.

The logo isn't that big a deal.

Most people who like coffee for coffee, and don't go to indie coffee houses to just seem cool, won't mind (and that's who would vote for this shirt anyway. A logo [which isn't really like the starbucks one anyway] wouldn't make the difference)

Trust me on that one.

That being said.
This is by far the shirt I'd most want.
I would buy it in a heartbeat if it won.
