i disagree. i like the design and shading. i think it would look really cool on the woman's cut t. it's totally different from all my other woot t's and what i usually gravitate toward. i guess that's the appeal for me.

Lyrics Illustrated (where this entry originated) was a no-text Derby. But even if it could have text, would you really want it there? I think a big ROCKY RACCOON at the top or bottom or wherever would really distract from the awesome art on display. I'm also of the opinion that the only one who really needs to "get" the shirt is the wearer (probably not the case much of the time anyway...). Any gawker who doesn't understand at first glance is always free to ask.

It's "inspired" by the song; it's likely what comes to mind for James when he hears it. It doesn't have to be the same thing you or anyone else feel about it. It'd be a little difficult to fit every element in the song's story on the shirt, no? I mean, where's the hotel room, the saloon, etc.? Is Rocky even really a raccoon, or was that just a nickname? It's an interpretation, not a record.

@soulxside - I'm just hoping to be an editor's pick at this point, as top ten looks out of reach. It certainly would be nice though - SDS badges are fun.

@EasyE - It seems unlikely as they weren't given an HM by woot. By the time the next double-take rolls around, I'll hopefully have opened up a print-on-demand shop somewhere, and the hippos would be on sale. We'll see what happens!

This shirt would be a lot better if the design took up the entire print area. Or at least 80% of it.

there are a few i'd definitely buy and this is one for sure. i find it more interesting and comical every time i look at it. it's so ridiculous-subtle. i get a kick out of the shadows and the little rodent. they all look like they could have come together in an suv.

This shirt would be the one reason I would go to a movie theater this summer. Hollywood has not impressed me in years, and knowing that whatever you can see for $10 a person today can be in your living room for next to nothing next month has reduced what little appeal there was.

Without this shirt, I will just stay at home and watch the food channel.

I'd personally love to see four days of Edgar next week. It would be a middle finger raised in the face of the woot voters who wouldn't know art if it curbstomped them, and a welcome respite from what looks like a two-dsladek weekend. Seriously, there is a difference between good art and good shirts, and I feel edgar really understands that better than some.
