Re: Heart By your powers combined

This is not on a t-shirt template and the title doesn't identify which element this design refers to. Both are requirements for this derby, and shirts without them have been rejected. I recommend withdrawing and resubmitting after fixing those problems.

"For it shines self-luminous always..." -Krishna, from the Baghavad-Gita. Very, very nicely done. I will buy this one if it's printed, and I buy very few shirts here.

Also surprised there's not more arsenic... it's such a good choice. I love this design, very nice flowy fumes. The bottle, too... the color and shape there are just fantastic. Has my vote. :]

Re: Iodine: Mostly Harmless

I LIKE the placement. I'm a sucker for non-centered designs. Also I love elements that burn strange colors... purple, green, bright red. It's a great idea, the only qualm I have is the super horizontal bit of fume coming from the big ghost's mouth... I think I'd like to see it more spiraling upward.

COLORFUL! Fantastic! I wish there were more vibrant sort of pop-art designs around.
Good job on the details, too. Has my vote. :]

Thanks. Bullets would be good too, but these are skulls (on the red stripes) and radioactive signs instead of stars. :-)

do you have a larger one to show in the forum at least? because the detail is so hard to see. it's an interesting take on the idea though.

I love jellyfish. Also, nice glowy-effects and vague-but-relevant use of an element. GMV.

uhhuhhuhhuh wrote:Everybody talks about the expression in the eyes of your creations, and they're right...but I really think it's the color pallet that you use. It always has a warm feeling to it, like it blends ever so slightly with the shirt color. Do you do that by messing with the layer's transparency? It's awesome.

Thanks! I struggle with the pallet sometimes. No transparencies here. I just pick a shirt color and work from that instead of making a design and hoping it'll work with a shirt template after the fact. And congrats on fog!
