This is incredibly geeky and awesome. I'm disappointed to not see it placing higher.

Also, you can see I changed the color and a few other things to modify it much like in the FiveBucks design above. I also removed a lot of the detail because it was for a 6 color shirt design and I thought it was close enough that it would strike a chord with people who might recognize it still. Then when I saw I could probably achieve that using just 3 colors, I gave it a shot.

For future reference, can you tell me why mine would be a copyright violation and the Fivebucks one wouldn't be?

A copyright on an image lasts something like 75 years. I can all but guarantee this image is still copyrighted. If you look at the crispness of the "5 bucks" image it seems obvious he recreated it in Illustrator. So even though it looks very close, it was recreated from scratch.

It's between Shiva, Plutonium, and Tin Man Can for third and fourth. 1st and 2nd seem pretty locked up at this point.

I love this shirt. Science can be stylish and subtle! It's a cool graphic and some nice science. Give the geek in your life something that is also kinda classy - not another Far Side or Dilbert cartoon.
