Your quote for the day:
"Critics are like eunuchs in a harem. They’re there every night, they see it done every night, they see how it should be done every night, but they can’t do it themselves."
Brendan Behan

Awesome quote - absolutely applicable - I've noticed most of the negative nellies on here couldn't draw their way out of a maze. I should probably get off of this before I let the heffeweizen make me appear negative, huh?

I think people want zombies because people want zombies to be better than they ever have been. I mean, there are hundreds of zombie flicks out there and only a smattering of good ones. In fact, you could count well done portrayals of zombies in film or literature or whatever on one hand. I think it is a bit of a nostalgia thing. Like you want the next zombie thing to be as good as your favorite. For me my favorite portrayal of zombies thus far is the novel "World War Z", before that it was HP Lovecraft's Re-animator. I have sought out other books and honestly they suck and the only reason I continue is to find equal peers to the best.

Your shirts are always amazing! You should start your own shirt company or something instead of putting them on woot... of course then they would cost more than $10... so I'm kind of torn...

First off, Thank you and it's getting a little late for this derby, but thank you for the suggestion, I think the changes you suggested would be enough for me to re-submit should it fit in with another theme.  The drinks were there becasue when I was on night crew everyone had their choice caffeine @ 2am "lunch".  I think the advice is helpful because it suggests simplifying the design which I understand.  Thanks.  I am hoping to enter future derbies so any comment helps.

Just a little comment on the ladder issue: He is oviously WELL past being done with the highet parts of his painting,he has no need of a ladder at this moment in time. I don't know about you, but I think I'd prefer to move an object which would block my access rather than to leave it there so it makes more sense to anyone who might be looking at a picture of that particular moment in time.

Snark, I didn't think this was about PTSD. I took it as a spoof on people who bring work home, which in the big picture are not life and death matters.

Re: Breakroom

Do all workplaces have a breakroom like this? Or do you work in the building next to mine?

I have 2 concerns about this shirt - 1. I am not sure all the details would show up if printed, and 2. I am not sure I want to wear a this reminder of work when I am not there.

I do like that I would not have to worry about green or red stains though - great for eating chips and salsa.

Re: It's All About The People (resub)

I titled the other one, "Soylent Green Corp." but the design said Co. I reworked the name because I tried to emulate the Simple Green cleaner logo at first but I thought that might have been a little too obscure of a reference so I decided to change it completely on the new one.

Hopefully y'all still like it and thanks so much for the votes.

llo! No need to write out "grams" if you don't write out the other abbreviations, such as "millimeters". Us math people also love symmetry, you know.

I'm not a huge Zombie fan, myself... this came, honestly, from how I feel after a long day of work. I think that's something anyone can relate to... and that's why it's making it's re-appearance in this derby. It started in the "Home" derby, but it fits just as well here.

I wasn't going to reply to your post at first ,because your obviously a loose canon and probablly go beat someone in the head ,cause you see something in a message board you don't agree with. this design is great work. but to me(my opionion, get it?)it doesn't look like work force at first glance. and the purdy fish have already been done. here.--->http://shirt.woot.com/derby/entry.aspx?id=18582

snarkygal wrote:This is in really poor taste in my opinion. PTSD is nothing to joke about

It's coming up on the end of the contract for our copiers at work, and I had a representative come into my office telling me about his copiers. He has bragging about how good his copiers were, especially the color ones. For a reference, he told me that a popular restaurant does all their menu printing on one of his machines. I was downtown over the weeKend, passed the restaurant, and almost had a $75 meal just so I could look at the menu.
As I thought about how pathetic that was, I thought about Woot and this derby and wondered what the worst job to bring your work home from would. It was either this design, or a coroner, and this made me giggle more. PTSD never even crossed my mind.

Lighten up a little, maybe?
