Oh come on, how can you folks not like this shirt? I actually giggled when I saw it, and thus since it makes me smile, I'll indulge and buy it. This from a die hard Trekkie even. I'm in for one! :D

Crambe repetita.

A true fan with a sense of humor would appreciate it as an inside joke on the philosophy of IDIC.

Just got home, this shirt isn't anything I would wear, and I never was into Star Trek. Always a Star Wars guy. Sci-fi is great and all but I just never liked Star Trek so this shirt is meaningless to me, and I don't feel like making fun of fans of the show with the shirt either which I'd imagine it would. Anyways, weird, weird design. See you tomorrow night.

If I don't see you no more in this world, I betcha on the next one you'll know me! Don't be late!

this shirt DOES seem to parody Mr Spock, unlike THAT shirt, which was just a scene.

Spock-= half vulcan, half human.
Spork- half fork, half spoon.

Why are most of the designs I want on dark shirts? I have way too many black t-shirts as is, bleh. Only passing on this because it's on an "Asphalt" T (just another word for 'light black')

Although I have visited shirt.woot.com daily for quite a while, today was the first day I saw a shirt I had to buy. It is a gift for a rabid Trekkie friend of mine. Of course, now that I've finally broken the seal, I'm likely to start buying for myself now...AMEX will be SO happy!
Woot, thanks for the entertainment each morning when I get to work.

just woot, Doc. They put up a large # of items and you can purchase them throughout the day. If you're lucky, you can try your luck at snagging a B O C ( or Bag of 'Carp' purposely translated so the filter doesn't translate it otherwise) which sometimes people have received great items in them. Most of the time, it's actual Carp.

I've been over at the woot off all day, but i finally came over here and brought one of these also, i was just wondering, the 'W' in front of the size means women's correct?

It would be funnier (to me) if it actually said "Mr. Spork" somewhere on it.

fleamarketadict

quality posts: 4 Private Messages fleamarketadict

I'm a charter trekkie (only the new guys call themselves trekers) and who doesn't love the spork, and while I do think it is funny and I'm glad I saw it and the description, woot gave the best reason not to buy this one:

We call this color: We’ve Used So Many Jokes About Asphalt It Is Not Logical That We’d Still Be Expected To Come Up With More

Now if he had been wearing a red shirt I probably would have bought it anyway.

An opinion should be the result of thought, not a substitute for it.
