He's only flying in the sense that humans on an airplane are flying, he was really being carried by the balloon. I don't think that is what W00t meant when they ruled out flying penguins.

This is much better than I've done in a while (which is sad), so thanks to everyone who voted and commented. This has been a great week for the derby, and I hope next week is even better.

+1 I love it....diving can be scary enough, I haven't even been very deep yet...last time I went there was a huge barracuda lurking up at the surface just eyeballing us for a while, it was creepy.

Man, I hate this didn't win. I really wanted this shirt.

Love the PBF style. I wish this one would have won. This is why I stopped looking at the Derby: all these awesome designs that I would actually wear that don't have many votes.

Also (and I know this is horribly nitpicky), which direction is the wind blowing? The sails seem show the wind blowing across the picture from right to left at some angle or other, but the pennant on top of the mainmast is blowing from left to right. Am I not seeing it correctly? I know the fog makes it seem like the wind is swirling about a bit - is that the explanation?
