Re: My fingers don't move that fast.
Problem it, you will never see 4-note chords like that, or those series of jumbled notes. I kind of like the idea, but maybe looks at a crazy solo note chart for inspiration. (Also I like that you used Rock Band gems instead of guitar hero )

This shirt is narrowly in 4th place, and with a lot of strong up-and-comers in the hotness its hopes of getting printed is seriously in jeopardy! Keeping my fingers crossed that we'll have a repeat of the work derby and get another awesome tgentry shirt via 11th hour victory. In the meantime, give this shirt your support!

Thanks everyone. inspiration
Re: Melt
This reminds me of this Cho shirt
Re: Hang On, You Fools!!!!
What?! Well, no offense to the person doing rejections, but why not save people some time, and just say - "You must redraw your idea." Even though I did not redraw this it still took a while to change everything.

BOMBS DROPPING? THIS IDEA IS SO OVERDONE. Sorry about your other design. GMV

Ironically, I live in the hood. I design a shirt that I probably can't even wear.

Thanks so much for the comments and the votes!
Re: Cheetos before a big date!!!
Has woot never been on a date? There is panic when you get a stain on your shirt. Think hot date guys!
Re: caught orange handed
Sorry man. I love this drawing. The rabbit reminds me of "rabbids" and I LOVE those guys. While I drew something similar months ago I wouldn't consider this a ripoff of it at all. :/ Not like it's THAT original of an idea where someone beside me would come up with it too. I had a similar thing happen to me when I made a scared snowman in a derby recently that was apparently similar to a drawing that won in the second derby. I had no idea that drawing was done. :/
Thanks!!! A ton...Honestly i never saw the other ones!!
Re: when sea monkeys come back!
If an over sized sea monkey came up your crapper I think you would see some panic! Who rejects these shirts??
Re: Fog Panic
Really, that week, I was afraid art was dead. I panicked!!!
Re: Emergency Contraception
i will bet money this gets rejected
kolorblindd wrote:I kinda despise gizmoduck1234 for pointing out that this is a common design. =[ Since imo this is the best of the lot of that style, and the grungy looked pretty cool.... *shrugs*
Thanks a ton!!! Honestly i never saw the other one...i guess i'll check next time or maybe i"ll ask Gizmo to check for me...it seems he has the time!!!
I don't get it.
Re: Never Take a Free Ride From a Cheetah
I wish I could pull a resub off with out rejection. It's really hard to do. Congrats on surviving the Woot reaper's blade.
Re: this city is so hot right now
I love the robot not having features!!! GMV!
Re: Baha, I has Nets too!
A pre-emptive welcome back to the fog, sir.
Paradox55 wrote:Not seeing panic here either...how does this fit the theme?
How does it not fit the theme... What is not on the theme "panic" about bombs being dropped?? "your subject matter could include any moment of blind, unreasoning, fearful urgency. "
Heeheehee!
Re: Little Guy On Campus
Never Wished more to be a book worm!!! GMV!
Re: Cheetos fingers as the date knocks on the door
Not sure how this was off theme.. so I resubmitted... probably to get it rejected again... but the rules did state... "your subject matter could include any moment of blind, unreasoning, fearful urgency. " Just sayin
Re: Danger up ahead... er, below
Great clean design...would print great!!! GMV!
Re: Think Fast
Hope gizmoduck don't see this...!!!
Re: Lament of the Balloon Theif
Up! Up! and Away!!! Love This!!! GMV!
Re: [url=http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=22751]
Is it just me, or do you submit unprintable entries every single derby?
jschway901 wrote:Not sure how this was off theme.. so I resubmitted... probably to get it rejected again... but the rules did state... "your subject matter could include any moment of blind, unreasoning, fearful urgency. " Just sayin
Except there's no panic outside the title of the shirt.
Epic.
Re: No Exit
Epic shirt.
kaboomboom wrote:Except there's no panic outside the title of the shirt.
Got it... Was that in the rules?? I guess it makes since that you need to see the shirt and think... PANIC!! It also puts some creativity in a box. Not to say that Cheetos stains are creative. *giggles* I took it as any moment of urgency. A lot of shirts are made by the title. Or as Joe Dirt said "I'm new and don't know what to do!"
I wish to subscribe to your newsletter
Re: Silver
whaaaa? how is this in any way related to the derby topic?
SydneyB wrote:I think this is FANTASTIC! Literally made me laugh out loud. and of course everyone else in the room said "what? What?" And crowded around to see, and THEY all laughed, too. Granted, if you WERE going to be able to tweak it, I'd agree with the people who suggest leaving out the utensils, and trying ti make it a drop less square. But it is STILL great, and GMV for sure
thanks so much! I'm not at all unhappy with it or how it looks. I think it could have been better, that's all. just a bit.
I like how the design really pops on heather gray. GMV! A-hahahahahahaha!
Re: Falling Dollar
It's a no-text derby so this will get rejected. Resubmit without the $1 on the bill.
jschway901 wrote:*giggles* I took it as any moment of urgency.
Not just any moment of urgency, but blind, unreasoning, fearful urgency. If I'm running late for work in the morning I have a sense of urgency, but not the same sense as when I'm being chased by an angry person wielding an ax.
Glad to see a new shirt from you..it's been a while since my last purchase
